1. A student carries out an experiment to investigate the relationship between the angle of
incidence, i and angle of refraction, r of a glass block. The arrangement of the apparatus is
shown in Diagram 1.1. A normal line is traced and the ray box is placed at the angle of incidence,
i.

Seorang pelajar menjalankan satu eksperimen mengkaji hubungan antara sudut tuju , i dengan
sudut biasan, r bagi suatu blok kaca. Susunan radas ditunjukkan pada Rajah 1.1. Satu garis
normal disurih dan kotak sinar diletakkan pada sudut tuju, i.

results of the experiment to determine the electromotive force, E and the
internal resistance, r of a dry cell.

4. Diagram 4.0 shows a boy cycling at night.
Diagram 4.1 and Diagram 4.2 show a cross sectional of bicycle dynamo which has a
magnet and a coil of insulated copper wire. The output of dynamo is connected to a
bicycle lamp. When the magnet is rotated by turning the wheel with same speed, the
lamp in Diagram 4.2 is light up brighter than in Diagram 4.1.

Rajah 4.0 menunjukkan seorang budak lelaki menunggang basikal pada waktu
Malam.
Rajah 4.1 dan 4.2 menunjukkan keratan rentas sebuah dinamo basikal yang mempunyai
satu magnet dan gegelung dawai kuprum bertebat.
Output dinamo disambungkan kepada lampu basikal.
Apabila magnet berputar dengan memutarkan tayar pada halaju yang sama didapati
nyalaan lampu dalam Rajah 4.1 lebih cerah dari lampu dalam Rajah 4.2.

(v) Procedure :

1. The insulated copper wire is wound around a cardboard
tube with number of turns and the height of a bar
magnet from the above of top end of the solenoid.The
bar magnet is dropped into the solenoid.


2. Start the experiment the number of turns = 10
with using insulated copper wire and metre rule.

3. Measure, record and calculate the value of the
magnitude of induced current using miliammeter.

4. Repeat the experiment with the different the number of
turns = 20, 30, 40, 50 and 60.
