To assist DOSM in establishing annual budget and actions plans.
To maintain complete & supported records of all sales agreements, contract & quotes for the hotel as per Dusit Thani Maldives hotels Policies &Procedures.
To have a good understanding of contribution margins of each product results and work with respective heads of departments to maximize Operating results.
To achieve revenue goals set by market.
To coordinate sales teams activities in order to secure new and repeat business in order to achieve and exceed budget.
To track, measure and analyse the productivity of the sales team so as to achieve and exceed goals.
To maintain a perpetual analysis of key accounts in specific markets assigned by the DOSM and group movements in the region.
To have a thorough knowledge of the comp set activities in terms of sales and actions plans.
To continuously add and update the database of contacts and local group leads, including the comp set, in order to implement an efficient solicitation program.
To entertain, and ensure sales team entertain as well, potential and current customers based on business priorities.
To ensure that all credit, billing & collection procedures that have been established by the hotel are implemented following the Credit Policies and Procedures.
To ensure implementation of correct booking and filing procedures, including group room and meeting program history, Catering set up and themes,
contractual agreements etc.
To attend monthly credit meetings, with Executive Committee members, ensuring that all necessary follow up is presented in concise and efficient manner.
To ensure that all sales contracts follow the established Hotel Policies & Procedures and are based and sound commercial judgment.

1. Four year college degree or equivalent education/experience. Arabic speaking will be an asset but not essential.
2. Minimum of five years of leisure sales experience in the luxury resort market.
3. Demonstrated record of meeting/exceeding revenue goals in hotel environment.
4. Must possess the ability to negotiate, convince, sell and influence travel industry professionals.
5. Ability to multi-task, organize and execute multiple projects simultaneously.
6. Familiar with leisure booking, third-party wholesaler and corporate sales contracts.
7. Ability to communicate in English with guests, management and co-workers to their understanding.
8. Proficiency in computers: Word, Excel, Google, resort sales/reservation systems.
9. Knowledge of the 4-5 star luxury hotel markets.
10. Knowledge of spa, food and wine markets.
11. Working relationship with top travel agents/agencies in key domestic and international markets.
