**Booster Club Fried Shrimp Dinners: Fri, Oct. 17, the Booster Club will have Fried Shrimp Dinners at the Homecoming game

**Recyclable Plastic Bottles Needed: Ms. DeVaughns & Mr. Tolberts science classes are still in need of recyclable plastic
bottles,
any size! They are still working on their plastic boat which will be tested for buoyancy in the upcoming weeks.

**PERT Sign-Up: The Oct 21 test date is full, but 10-12 grade students may sign up for the Oct. 28 test. Sign-up is in library.
**ACTIVITY BUS: The Activity Bus will depart FCS at 6:00pm on Mondays through Thursdays. The Activity Bus is for students
being supervised by a school staff member for after school activities. Students who are on campus after school, & are not
being supervised by a staff member, should be sent to the front office so parents can be contacted.

**4-H Horse Club Kick-Off: Thursday, Oct 23, at the Eastpoint Fire Dept. @ 6:00pm. Youth ages 8-18 may register as a 4-H
member at the meeting. No fee to join & do not have to own a horse. The club will be managed by screened & trained 4-H volunteer,
Mrs. Jeanette Spann. PRE-REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED. Call the Franklin County Extension Office @ 653-9337 to register.

**Take A Bite Out of Hunger: From now through Nov. 21, drop off unopened jars of peanut butter to the Franklin County
UF/IFAS Extension Office at 66 Fourth St., Apalachicola. Peanut butter will be donated to a local food pantry during Farm-City

Franklin County Adult School GED Testing Center is now open!
If you are interested in earning your GED, go to www.GED.com & register to take the test, choosing the Franklin County site for testing.
You will not be able to take the test on the same day that you register, so register early!
The testing site is at the Franklin County District Office (old Brown Elementary School). The hours of operation are:
Mondays, Wednesdays, & Fridays from 9:00am-1:00pm and 5:00pm-10:00pm pm.
Tuesdays & Thursdays rom 9:00am-10:00pm.
