Kancil and Crocodile

Part 1
In the summer day, it’s very hot day. Kancil go to river
nearby forest. He wants to take a bath. However, in the river
there are many crocodiles. Crocodiles are Kancil’s enemy
because crocodile eat Kancil. A crocodile look at Kancil.
Then, he crawls slowly behind Kancil. Step by step, crocodile
is very close to Kancil. Finally, he catches one of Kancil’s
legs. Kancil is terrified. Then, he had an idea. He sees a twig
floating near him. He picks it up and says, “You are fool! You
are biting a twig not my leg.” Kancil show the twig that he
picks before such as his leg. Crocodile is very stupid. He
believes Kancil. Then, he grabs and bits the twig. After that,
Kancil run away quickly with laughing.

Part 2
One morning, Kancil wants to go to other side of the forest.
However, he must across the river. The river is very deep for
Kancil to across. There are still many crocodiles there.

At the river edge, Kancil meet the crocodile that bit Kancil
before.
Crocodile says, “Wants to repeat our fight?”
Kancil answers, “No, thanks. I just want to across this river”
Crocodile says, “No problem with my pleasure but, if you
across the river, we will eat you. Ha ha ha!”
Kancil says, “okay, but help me to across this river first then
you and your friends can eat me. Do you agree?”
Crocodile says, “Are you sure? I cannot believe you again.
You are deceiver!”
Then Kancil lies again, “No, at this time please believe me.
Look at me! I’m little, fragile and weak. Look at you. You are
big and strong”
Crocodile think for a moment.
“Okay, I agree you,” agreed crocodile to Kancil.
Then, crocodile command his friend to line up until other
side of river edges. After that, Kancil jump to crocodile back,
one by one and finally, Kancil is in other side of the river.
Kancil run away quickly and leave that stupid crocodiles.

+Kancil is species of deer. Kancil named mouse deer

because Kancil is kind of little deer. Kancil live in the forest
in Java, Sumatera, Bali, Nusa Tenggara, and Southern
Kalimantan.
