Record Results for St Georges Girls
These are truly outstanding results and a record for St Georges.
The girls were utterly dedicated and hardworking and absolutely
deserve these extremely high grades. It was wonderful to see
the top 5 performers at GCSE receiving 47 A*s and 7 As between
them. I am also particularly pleased that our GCSE English results
are so impressive, bucking the national trend.
With 16% of A Level grades at the top A*, the Upper Sixth have
secured places at top universities in the UK and USA. Girls also
excelled at the Extended Project Qualication (EPQ) with 75%
achieving A*/A and 100% A*-B grades overall. It is exciting to
see girls excelling in so-called hard subjects, such as Science and
Languages. Yet again, girls at girls schools are shown to do well
in these demanding and traditionally male-dominated subjects.
