Introduction

This document is the scope of work for our project RIP (Road Improvement
program), developing a passable road for town of Apalit.

Road maintenance is essential in order to preserve the road in its originally

constructed condition, protect adjacent resources and user safety, and provide
efficient, convenient travel along the route.

Unfortunately, maintenance is often neglected or improperly performed resulting in

rapid deterioration of the road and eventual failure from both climatic and vehicle use
impacts. It follows that it is impossible to build and use a road that requires no
maintenance.

Project Name

The team decided to name our project RIP or Road Improvement Program weve chosen name
fix because it is easy to remember. And its really look related in our real project and that is to
Improve and fix the traffic lights, proper loading and unloading area, cleaning the drainage and the
improper disposal of garbage.

.
Statement of the Problem
The general problem of the study is: How to improve the road/sideway beside Apalit Market.
Specially, the study sought answers to the following questions:

What will be the benefits of improving the road/sideways beside Apalit Market?
How to improve the road/sideways beside Apalit Market?

Lack pedestrian lane and improper road maintenance has been a serious problem in our society
today. It may cause a serious accident for all the riders.
Unfortunately, our town Apalit is facing the same situation especially the area beside the Apalit
Market because of improper disposal of garbage, unrepaired road/sideways, unused traffic lights,
and improper area of loading and unloading of passengers.
Several steps will be proposed to this project could lead to solution to the problem in order to
combat this and prevent accidents on the Apalit road. A quick action is needed for our town
especially in the area Apalit Market.
