How to Pay Options:
As you complete your online enrolment, you will find displayed
guidance notes and instructions, which are there to assist you. We
hope that the following information will also help you.
Information relating to MMU Institutional Bursaries
Full time Undergraduate/PGCE (self funding including Tuition Fee
Loan students) with a UK student support number (from Student
Finance) paying the £3,375 tuition fee and receiving the maximum
HE Maintenance Grant must be given a bursary of at least £338, but
the scheme at Manchester Metropolitan University is considerably
more generous than this. Students do not have to be in receipt of a
maintenance grant to qualify for the scheme.
The amount of bursary you would receive depends on your
household income. The Bursary payment can be up to £1,025 and
payments are made directly to your bank account via the Student
Loan Company's Higher Education Bursary and Scholarship Scheme.
You must be confirmed as being in attendance prior to the payments
being made. For more information along with other important

Many second year students may also be eligible to receive an
additional £200 bursary payment if they joined MMU in 10/11
Academic Session for Year 1 of their study, received a bursary
payment for £1,025 and are progressing to Year 2 in 2011/12
Academic Session. These students will be contacted separately by
the Bursary team.

Tuition Fees
You need to inform the University how your fees will be paid. You can
do this by selecting one or more of the options displayed on screen.
You will find an explanation of the different options.
