Civica acquires Asidua

Group extends market-leading position and strengthens capability

to respond to increasing focus on digital transformation
11 November 2014, Belfast: Civica Group Limited (Civica), a market leader in specialist systems
and business process services that help organisations transform the way they work, has announced
that Civica UK Limited, the companys wholly owned subsidiary, has acquired software consultancy
and services group Asidua Holdings Limited (Asidua).
Asidua is based in Belfast with offices in Dublin and Birmingham. The company specialises in
software, integration and consultancy services for government and corporate customers in the UK
and internationally, with particular expertise in local government contact management and
application integration and in specialist telecoms systems.
Asidua has a successful track record in providing contact management and enterprise application
and data integration (ADI) and has developed the Customer Contact Platform which allows
organisations to transform services while reducing the cost of contact through seamless integration.
As organisations look to modernise services and make savings through digital transformation, the
acquisition brings complementary expertise and will form part of Civicas Digital Solutions business,
extending the Groups capability as it continues to help organisations create more immediate, agile
and connected ways of working.
