This research had purposed to study the patient satisfaction level at Lat Lum Kaeo hospital in
Pathum Thani and to study the factors that affect such the satisfaction level and to provide
recommendation to increase patient satisfaction of the hospital.
This study was a quantitative research method using a questionnaire as a research tool to collect
data from 286 patients who used services at the Lat Lum Kaeo hospital. The statistic used in this study
were Frequency and Percentage. Statistics used to test the hypothesis of this research to find the
relationship between the variables were Chi-Square test and Gamma correlation coefficient to measure
tendency of the relationship of variables with the statistic significant level of .05.
The Findings were: Satisfaction level of the clients (154 clients, 53.80%) was at high level with the
services at the hospital. Some believed that the services were too slow and the waiting time for the
services was too long. The factors influencing the patient satisfaction level at the Lat Lum Kaeo hospital
with the statistic significant level of .05 were age, occupation, education level, income and type of
medical welfare.
Recommendations from the result of research are 1) Reducing service procedures and increasing
service agility should be done. 2) The manipulation between internal government units is required in
order to make the service more comfortably and quickly. 3) The special service lane should be available
for general patients who didn't use the welfare card and any others. Recommendations for further
research is the number of inpatient should be increased to this study. Moreover, the study between Lat
Lum Kaeo hospital and other governmental hospitals should be also implemented.
