Unit 3

7 points with Activity 1: All the members of the group will obtain the same grade according to the coherence of your text, application of comparative skills and grammar accuracy. Only one upload per group will be allowed. So, make sure the version that you send is your final version, with which all the group member agree. However, if you need to upload it again, just send me an email asking for it. 7 points with Activity 2: Everyone in the group will also obtain the same grade according to the coherence of your text, skill of advice and suggestion giving and grammar accuracy. As stated above, make sure that the version of the text that you send is the group’s final version. However, if you need to resend it, just let me know. 3 points: Each member will assess the other members of the group. You should give a 3-point grade to the rest of your group-mates, according to the extent they have contributed to organizing, participating, and producing the activities. As soon as you finish the second activity, you should send Guzman an email with the name of your group, a list of your group-mates, the grade you propose for them (3, 2, 1 or 0 are the options), and a justification of your grading. This grade will be private. 3 points: These are given by the instructor to all the students applying the same qualitative criterion of collaborative learning as above. No correction will be made of individually-produced activities. Timing You have three weeks to complete Unit 3. Join, as stated above, in groups as soon as possible. Do not leave all the work for the last week, as collaborative learning requires regularity and constancy. The last day for uploading your group’s assignment and sending your group’s final contribution to the forum is Sunday, April, 27th.
