Dear Hiring Manager,

Applying for Stanberry & Associates Marketing Assistant position is an opportunity that new Marketing
grads should be willing to figuratively kill for. Im applying for this position because every job I have had
involved a component of marketing. It's what I love to do! In my first job, as an usher in a movie theater,
I promoted the theater through customer relations, and created the theater's signs and displays. That
experience was quite some time ago, but Marketing by way of customer service, sales, promotion, and
supply-chain management has been involved in every phase of my pre-Bachelors degree career. During
college, I've developed skills by working as a hotel night auditor, visual merchandiser, and ticket
subscription account representative along with my studies in courses such as Integrated Marketing
Communications, Sales and Promotions, and Marketing Management. In May 2013, I received a
Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a specialization in Marketing. I appreciate your
potential interest and am excited of the prospect of being able to learn Marketing from the best minds
in the business.

Sincerely,

J. Eric Johnson
