Institute of Infrastructure, Technology, Research And
Management (IITRAM) established by the Government of Gujarat
as an Autonomous University is instrumental in bringing about a
profound change in Engineering Education with specialization in
Infrastructure and Management of Infrastructure to create center
of excellence, to organize advanced studies and to promote
research in Infrastructure & Infrastructure Management.

OBJECTIVES

ADMINISTRATION

Institute of Infrastructure, Technology, Research And


Management (IITRAM), situated in the throbbing city of
Ahmedabad in Maninagar area, is established as a University
under Gujarat State Legislature Act no. 5 of 2013.
IITRAM is governed by the Board of Governors (BoG). BoG
comprises of Chairman, Director General, three ex-officio
Secretary from Government of Gujarat, two academicians,
One VC or ex-VC and three experts from different areas.
The Academic Council is the princi pal academic body of the
University. It consists of the Director General (Chairman of
the council), three academicians, two directors, two Deans
and Faculties of University scho ol.
The Finance Committee consists of the Chairman, one
member of BoG, Director General, Secretory of Gujarat
Finance Department, ex-officio, and one expert in the field of
finance nominated by BoG.
Registrar is the Secretary of the BoG, the Academic Council
as well as the Finance Committee.

In each disci pline, 50% of seats are available for admission to students
from Gujarat State on the basis of Admission Committee for
Professional Courses (ACPC) merit and 50% from All India Central
Seat Allotment Board (CSAB) of NITs/IIITs.

The Library Resource Center (LRC) provides vital support for teaching, learning,
and research activities of the Institute using the state-of-the-art library and
information services. The LRC is rapidly developing its collection of bo oks,
reference bo oks, periodicals, and electronic resources. At present, the LRC has
wide collection of bo oks, which includes text bo oks, reference bo oks, a fine
collection of bo oks on Literature and English Language and a vast collection of
Biographies, and General interest titles. LRC is fully automated with SOUL 2.0
Integrated Library Management Software and also implemented integrated RFID

A lecture has been given by known theoretical physicist Prof. R. E. Amritkar, Institute of Infrastructure, Technology,
Research and Management (IITRAM) Ahmedabad on 24th January, 2014. The title of his presentation was Beauty of
Fractal.

On 22th February, 2014, a lecture has been given by Prof. Sanjiv Kumar, Scho ol of Science, Indira Gandhi National Open
University (IGNOU), New Delhi on Electronic Structure of Atom- A Conceptual Development.
