Script #3- INGRID

1. EXT. MIDDAY. PATH ALONG THE RIVER. INTENSE MUSIC IN BACKGROUND

LONG/ WIDE ANGLE SHOT
INGRID is running fast along a narrow path beside a river
Government officer comes into shot
She slows down to catch her breath, looks behind her (MEDIUM
CLOSE UP FROM FRONT AND BEHIND CHARACTER- MATCH ON ACTION
EDITING)
Eyes widen (CLOSE UP) she knows she needs to get away quick
CUT TO BLACK
TITLE SEQUENCE

2. EXT. ALONG THE RIVER. BACKGROUND MUSIC MORE INTENSE

Government officer has grabbed her (MEDIUM CLOSE UP)
INGRID is struggling but she manages to get out quite quickly
and run away

3. INT. GOVERNMENT HEADQUARTERS

MEDIUM CLOSE UP FROM BEHIND COMPUTER
Boss government officer is plotting, looking through INGRIDS
files- pictures, basic details

4. EXT. CUT TO BRIDGE

LONG SHOT- LOW ANGLE
INGRID is running across bridge, has gained some distance on
chaser
She runs into an abandoned warehouse area
By this point the government officer is in closer range, gets
gun out (CLOSE UP)

5. EXT. WAREHOUSE AREA

INGRID gets shot in the arm. She falls to the ground in pain
and shock.
She blacks out. (OVERHEAD MEDIUM
The government officer stands over her, arms crossed, looking
very smug.
SEVERAL HOURS LATER

6. INT. HOSPITAL BED

She wakes up on a bed, very confused, cant remember what
happened, theres a bandage on her arm
She spies there is a folder on the table next to her reading:
INGRID
CONFIDENTIAL INFORMATION/ PRIVATE
She opens the file. It reads something like:
You were unsuccessful in the completion of your mission.
This is not the only one, you will be put through a series of
extreme tests in order to complete your training.
Failure to complete these tests to a high standard will result
in the loss of everything you love.
You have been warned (CAMERA PANNING DOWN FOLLOWING WORDS)
