Next week’s second collection on Peace Sunday is for Pax Christi
(Envelopes available at back of church) Pax Christi - the Peace of Christ - is involved in campaigning on issues such as the arms trade, and the Middle East, and offers programmes that develop education for peace and seek alternatives to violence. The 2010 World Peace Day message encourages us to see how protecting he earth and making sure its gifts reach everyone as God intends, is essential to reducing conflict between people.
