IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS FOR CANDIDATES APPEARING IN AME LICENSE

EXAMINATION OCTOBER 2014 SESSION (05-11-2014)


1.

The applications (CA-9, applied afresh by rejected candidates) along with the documents received in this office
of those candidates whose candidatures were rejected in the list displayed on DGCA website dated 17.10.2014,
have been scrutinized again and those found eligible , have been allotted roll numbers which are included in
the admitted list of candidates for AME Licence examination OCTOBER 2014 session displayed on DGCA
website and further all those candidates whose applications found not eligible during scrutiny (not forwarded
through competent authority (improper forwarding), incomplete applications, and applications with improper
experience certificates/logbooks/wrong demand draft/without supporting documents/late received applications),
have not been considered for allotment of roll numbers for the said examination and remain rejected. Lists of
such rejected applications (List 1 & List 2) are already displayed on DGCA web site dated 17.10.2014, for
information to the candidates and no communication in this regard shall be entertained.

2. Candidates are provisionally admitted for this session of AME License Examination OCTOBER 2014. It had been
observed in the past that some candidates are furnishing false information (Suppressing True information) on
their CA-9 forms for obtaining roll numbers. If any such discrepancy is found before or after the examination,
their candidature will be cancelled and if appeared in the exam, their results will be withheld.
3. During scanning of the previous OMR Sheets, it has been observed that the candidates are making mistakes
while darkening ovals in the OMR sheets. The candidates, inadvertently, darken the ovals of ZERO instead of
ONE; particularly while darkening the ovals of Roll Number or Question Paper Reference Number. The
candidates should be careful, while darkening the ovals.
4. Candidates should ensure that they fill up and darken the ovals correctly for Roll Number and Question paper
Reference number. The OMR sheet cannot be EVALUATED, if the roll no. and/or Question paper Reference
number are not correctly filled up and correct ovals are not darkened /or ovals left blank, the result of such
OMR Sheets will be declared as NOT EVALUATED (NE).
5. Candidates appearing at Delhi Centre for AME License Written Examination shall have to carry a DGCA
Photo Identity Card as per the Performa given below duly signed by respective Heads of organization / Quality
Managers / Chief Instructor of AME training Institute under their jurisdiction for entry into the UPSC
Examination Hall. The Photo Identity Card shall be issued to only those candidates, who are admitted for the
written examination at Delhi centre only. However private (Unemployed) candidates, appearing at Delhi
centre are advised to get their DGCA Photo Identity Card signed by Regional Airworthiness office (Delhi)
between 3.00 PM to 5.00 PM on all working days before the examination date.
6. Candidates appearing at All other Centers including Delhi Centre shall have to carry his/her proof of
Identity (any one of the following documents in original) while appearing in AME License Examination along
with the downloaded page of the website list of admitted candidates on which their name appears for entry
into the Examination Hall.

h. Identity card issued by AME training Institutes to their students who are undergoing training in the
institutes

7. Any request for late received applications (applications received after cutoff date) /change of

centre or paper/Category shall not be entertained.


8. All the candidates who are admitted in AME Licence examination OCTOBER2014 session are hereby advised to
check the correctness of the paper, category and centre for which they have applied.
9. The candidates should use BALL - POINT PEN only on both sides of OMR sheet, i.e. filling the ovals for answering
the questions on side 2 and filling the particulars on side 1 of OMR SHEET.
10. Candidates must not communicate with another candidate or anyone else other than supervisory staff during
the examination. If there is a need to raise a point of immediate urgency, the candidate is required to raise a
hand to attract the Supervisors attention. The candidate may then explain the matter in a quiet and non-disruptive
manner. If there is any perceived error or ambiguity in a question, the candidate may raise objection. An
objection sheet may be requested for and obtained from Supervisor/invigilator.
11. All the candidates must return Question paper, OMR answer sheet, objection slips, and rough work sheets (if any) to
the Supervisor/invigilator on completion of the examination. If the candidate fails to return Question paper,
OMR answer sheet, objection slips, rough work sheets, necessary disciplinary action shall be taken against him /her.

Instructions/Rules Regarding carrying/use of mobile phones


12. Mobile phones, electronic wrist watches, wrist watch phones, multimedia watches pagers, pen scanners or any
other communication devices even in switched off mode are not allowed inside the premises where the DGCA
examination is being conducted. Any infringement of these instructions shall entail disciplinary action including
ban from future examinations.
13. Candidates are advised in their own interest not to bring any of the banned items as mentioned above to the
venue of the DGCA examination.
14.

ACTION AGAINST CANDIDATES FOUND GUILTY OF MISCONDUCT:


A candidate who shall be declared by the DGCA to be guilty of:
(i)
Obtaining support of his/her candidature by any means, or
(ii)
Impersonating , or
(iii)
Procuring impersonation by any person, or
(iv)
Using unfair means during the Examination or leaving examination hall with the question paper, OMR
answer sheet.
(v)
Making statements which are incorrect or false or suppressing material information
(vi)
Writing irrelevant matter including obscene language on answer sheets/objection slips/ reproducing
questions from the question paper
(vii)
Misbehaving in any other manner in the examination hall or harassing or doing bodily harm to the
staff deputed by the DGCA for the conduction of examination
(viii)
Bringing Mobile phones, electronic wrist watches, wrist watch phones, pagers, pen scanners or any
other communication devices in the examination Hall, even in switched off mode.
Attempting to commit or, as the case may be, abetting the DGCA of all or any of the acts specified in the
foregoing clauses, the candidate may be:
(a)

Disqualified by the DGCA from examination for which he/she is a candidate, and/or

(b)

Debarred either permanently or for a specified period by the DGCA from appearing any examination.

15. Candidates appearing at Delhi Centre for AME Licence Written Examination shall have to carry a DGCA

17. Candidates appearing at all centres , who do not possess the proof of identity document as specified above, shall
not be permitted in the Examination Hall
18. Candidates for Delhi Centre, who do not possess the DGCA Photo Identity Card and proof of identity document
as specified above, shall not be permitted in the Examination Hall.
