FEES AND TERMS OF PAYMENT

1.

FEES AND COSTS

1.1

The Certifying Agency/ Firms lump sum fee for completion of work as per the scope of
work and services specified in Annexure-1 (Scope of Services) shall be Rs. .

1.2

The above lump sum fee shall be inclusive of all taxes and duties of whatsoever nature
except Service Tax and Education Cess, which shall be paid extra at the prevalent rate.
The Service Tax and Education Cess at the present rate of @. % is Rs.
(Rupees).
The break- up of total fees as mentioned at 1.1 for each activity unitwise as indicated in
the table given below:

NB:

The Para 1.3 may be enclosed as Annexure(s) for each Unit and Corporate Office
separately as per the above table.

2.

VISITS:
The fee as mentioned at 1.1 above shall be inclusive of all visits including to the
proposed site (inclusive of charges towards travel, boarding and lodging, local transport
etc.) and there shall not be any additional payment on this account.

3.

The fee as mentioned at 1.1 above shall also be inclusive of all associated costs for due
completion of the work and there shall not be any additional payment on any account.

CONTRACT CUM PERFORMANCE BANK GUARANTEE (CPBG)

The Certifying Agency/ Firm shall submit a Bank Guarantee in Clients approved proforma, from NALCOs approved bank for 10% of the total fee payable against the
assignment towards the CPBG within fifteen (15) days of award of work/LOI. The CPBG
will not carry any interest. The said CPBG shall remain valid up to 3 months beyond the
completion of the scope of work and services of the Certifying Agency/ Firm. The Proforma of CPBG and the List of Approved Banks of NALCO are enclosed to the
document Instructions to Bidders (ITB) i.e. Annexure -2. The EMD submitted by
successful bidder will be adjusted against CPBG.

5.

TERMS OF PAYMENT

5.1

The above quoted fees will be paid as per the following terms of payment:

a)

Payment shall be made after each audit and submission of invoice at respective Unit and
Corporate Office.

b)

Service- tax and other taxes (if applicable) shall be as per prevailing rate by Government
of India.
The CPBG shall be released 3 months after completion of work in total.

6.

All fees and costs payable to the Certifying Agency/ Firm under this Contract shall be
paid within thirty (30) days of receipt of invoice by NALCO at normal condition.

7.

The total quoted fees for all the services mentioned hereto will remain firm up to the
completion of the job in all respects.

8.

The total quoted fee is inclusive of all taxes of whatsoever nature including Income Tax
but excluding Service Tax and E-cess which shall be paid extra. Further imposition of
any new taxes/duties/levies/cess by Government Authorities, which may be introduced
later shall be paid extra against documentary evidence.

9.

It is to certify that we have been accredited by SAI (Social Accountability International)

as Certification Body for SA 8000:2008 and validity of such accreditation is up to _____.
