Thank you for your prayers, concern, encouragement and

understanding over this past weekend. Many of you know we had

an emergency in our family and you were so kind and
understanding. Thank you. I ask your continued prayers for our
granddaughter during this time and for Gods guidance in our
family.
December is not only the time of the celebration of the birth
of our Lord but in church life it is also the time of proposing the
budget for the coming year. Our regular quarterly business meeting
will be held next Wednesday, December 17 in the church sanctuary.
I encourage everyone to be at this important meeting. The meeting
will begin at 7PM.
Greg Queen did an excellent job this past Sunday morning
speaking about missions and calling us to receive the Lottie Moon
Christmas Offering for International Missions. We will receive this
offering all month so if you did not have an opportunity to give you
can still do so.
I am looking forward to our worship together this Sunday
morning. Come and worship at the Gathering at 9AM or our
Traditional Service at 11 AM. I look forward to seeing you then.
Paul

Can you help with taxes?

We are planning a trip to Clarkston, GA over the last weekend of January to
assist refugees with their income taxes. I am looking for any person that is
willing to train online over the Christmas and New Year's holidays and be
ready to do 4 hours more on Saturday, January 24, to become a certified
volunteer with the IRS VITA program. Although some familiarity with taxes
is helpful, it is not a requirement. Please pray and let me know ASAP if this
may be an area where you are able to serve.

Children's Christmas Breakfast Sunday, December 14 9:45 am

Fellowship Hall
Join us for breakfast! We ask that parents and Sunday School teachers
bring a breakfast item to share. The church will provide the paper
products, silverware, milk and juice. Children of all ages, parents and
preschool and children's Sunday School teachers are invited to attend.
Please note, breakfast will not last the entire hour. Preschoolers will
be dismissed to their classroom and the elementary age children will
participate in a large group Sunday School class following breakfast.

The Christmas party will begin at 5:00. We will meet together at
