Compress multiple files into a compressed folder to attatch as one file.
Process:
I created this webpage using Text Wrangler. It was the first time I had ever
used CSS/HTML. i used other web browsers to check and make sure my web
page was what I wanted it to be.
I used CSS to help create the artistic elements of my web page, and the HTML
for all the words and specific formatting. To find colors, I opened photoshop
and used the eyedropper tool to fin the codes of the colors to put into CSS. I
divided the sections into groups on HTML so they could be in differing colors.

Objectives:
Process:
To create the outline of the brochure, I used InDesign. I first created two pages, one for the outside and one for the inside. I measured how I would like the
pages to fold, and then added markers to those points. I used the shapes tools
to help create both dimension, and outlines for my text.
I created my logo in Illustrator. I used the circle and rectangle shape tools to
create it. I then added color and text to it to showcase what company it was
for.
I edited some of the images in Photoshop, so I could open them in Indesign and
wrap text around them. For the other pictures, I used the direct feathering tool
to make the edges of the pictures less harsh.

Objectives:
Process:
FIrst, I found two images that would work together to create the message
that I wanted to portray. I cropped the first picture to 8.5 X 11. I cropped the
second image, the flag, and dragged it to the first picture. I created a mask
on the flag, which allowed me to smoothly incorporate it into the first picture.
I used black paint with 60% opacity to paint away the harder edges of the picture. I blurred the edges and changed the transparency of the flag so the first
image would still be visible. Then, I incorporated typography into the image.
I added drop shadows which made the words easier to see against the dark
backdrop.

who has so blessed our land.

Microsoft Word

Objectives:
Process:
To create this flyer, I used the tools that were available through Microsoft Word,
specifically in the Publishing layout. To get the picture, I scanned the picture
from a book and placed it in the flyer. I used the shapes and filling options to
create structure for the flyer. I used a monochromatic color scheme, since the
colors on the picture were mostly blacks and whites. To adjust the picture to the
layout of the flyer, I had to crop the picture so it would work.

Process:
I created the logo using shapes, swatches, and typography in Adobe Illustrator.
Once I created the logo, I moved it to Adobe InDesign, where I created a front
and back of a business card, and a matching letterhead. With the letterhead,
I changed the transparency of the logo to become a watermark. I added the
business information and other typography, as well as a color scheme to tie
everything together.

Objectives:
Process:
Using InDesign, I was able to create a flier which contained information about
a graduate leadership conference in the future. I aligned my text both left
and right for balance. The triangles of gray and black at the top were used to
create a focal point of the words Graduate Leadership COnference, which is
what I was attempting to emphasize. I used white space effectively and in a
way that created flow for the audience.Through many rough drafts and sketches, I was able to create a final copy.

Process:
I started with my photo, which I took on a digital camera, and shaped the flyer
around it. I found a color scheme that worked well with the colors in the picture. I decided on an anagogic color scheme. I then brought the picture into
Photoshop, where I added several affects to the picture, and created it into
a flyer. I used the eyedropper tool to spread my swatches of colors throughout the picture. I used the shapes to help create dimension. I added hue and
brightness to the photo to help create more of a focal point for the picture.
