Wireless Networking What are the Recommended Settings for 802.11n Connectivity?

WEP and WPA-TKIP are not compatible with 802.11n.

Note Data rate will not exceed 54 Mbps when WEP or TKIP encryption is
configured.
If you are still not getting the expected performance from your wireless products,
you can set your wireless router to use channel bonding (40 MHz). Implementing
channel bonding on the wireless router allows the router to use two channels at
the same time. Channel bonding is also known as mixed mode. For assistance
with this setting, contact the router manufacturer.
