call for partners
We believe that each new young generation holds the key to co-create a better world.
With fresh innovative ideas, perspectives and an tremendous need for (online)
connection, the current generation of young people are extremely promising to be
leaders of change. With the project Change! Leaders for active participation
laboratory (CLAP Lab) we aim to improve the capability of these young people
to make a change in society through a youth leadership development
programme.
Discussing the concepts and the need for a youth leadership programme we identified a
variety of understandings. We realized that we have to take in account the different
personal and organizational points of view. The process of sharing ideas, exploring
different approaches and to find strengths and weaknesses in the different
perspectives concerning youth leadership was interesting. Since all of us work in
youth run organizations or with youth run projects the variety of needs where
comprehensive and it was a true journey to transform them in a coherent youth
leadership development programme. Luckily we also found huge similarities and the
result is the CLAP Lab youth leadership programme which;
CLAP Lab is an international multi-measure project dedicated to train the young people
of our organizations to develop their leadership skills and create change in society. Youth
leadership benefits both the youngsters itself and the society as a whole. Using a
combination of training, exchanges and evaluation we constructed an experiential &
cross cultural leadership programme that integrates the different needs & objectives of
all partner organizations.
