Biological Sciences and Bioengineering:

Sciences and Bioengineering (BSBE) is a multidisciplinary department addressing both basic
and applied areas of Biological Sciences and Bioengineering. Research in BSBE is focused
on: regenerative medicine (stem cell biology, tissue engineering, drug delivery, biomedical
devices, biochemical/bioprocess engineering and biomaterials); understanding protein
sequence-structure-function
relationship
(structural
and
computational
biology,
bioinformatics); engineering approaches to understand biological systems (biomechanics,
and bio-image processing); genetic control of development, differentiation and disease
(genetics, cell biology and developmental biology).
Applications for faculty positions are invited in the above-mentioned areas at all levels:
namely, Professor, Associate Professor and Assistant Professor. Further, applicants with
exceptional achievements in any area of Biological Sciences and Bioengineering are also
