Welcome ...to First Presbyterian Church of Orlando! Were glad youre here

this Christmas. This season is filled with a special joy and we invite you to continue
rejoicing with us in the new year on Sunday mornings at 8:30am, 9:45am or
11:00am, as we celebrate God together and learn more about the things that bring
Him joy.
We are a covenant community making disciples who light the world.
Theres a place for you and your family in this community, and wed love the
opportunity to help you discover your unique place in Gods story of light. Tonight
we celebrate together the gift of Gods light, shining into our own lives and the
darkest places in the world. Together we pray for hearts to receive the light of Jesus
and share Him with others!

Next Sunday ...join us for Lessons & Carols at 11:00am only on December

28th, in the Sanctuary. There will be SHINE care for children kindergarten &
younger; children first grade and older will worship with their families.

Decking the Halls ...Our

Christmas flowers and greenery have

been given in honor or in memory of
our loved ones. If you gave a dedication
and would like a poinsettia, the flowers
will be available after 11am worship on
January 4.

Light Safely ...by assisting

children in lighting and holding

candles. Please keep your candles
upright and tip only the unlit candles,
to prevent dripping wax. Candles will
be collected at the door as you exit.
Thank you!

RESPONSE

FAMILY
We light the Christ candle signifying that the Light of the World has come to earth.
This night is like no other night in the history of the world. For it was on this night
that God, the Creator of the universe took on human flesh as a baby.

CONGREGATION
His name is Jesus and he shall save the people from their sins.

FAMILY
For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in
him shall not perish but have eternal life.
CONGREGATION
For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the
world through him. Whoever believes in him is not condemned.
