POWER OVER THE ENEMY (Cesar Castellanos) Revelation 12:11 NKJV “And they overcame him by the blood of the

Lamb and by the word of their testimony, and they did not love their lives to the death.” Exodus 12:21-23 NKJV “Then Moses called for all the elders of Israel and said to them, “Pick out and take lambs for yourselves according to your families, and kill the Passover lamb. 22 And you shall take a bunch of hyssop, dip it in the blood that is in the basin, and strike the lintel and the two doorposts with the blood that is in the basin. And none of you shall go out of the door of his house until morning. 23 For the LORD will pass through to strike the Egyptians; and when He sees the blood on the lintel and on the two doorposts, the LORD will pass over the door and not allow the destroyer to come into your houses to strike you.” Without applying it with the hyssop, they people did not receive the effects of the blood. It was available, but it had to be applied to receive the affect. The word of our testimony is the New Testament hyssop. The hyssop becomes the confession we make regarding the blood of the lamb. 4 Confessions of Faith (applying the blood of Jesus) Confession 1 Ephesians 1:7 NKJV “In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace.” Confession – “By the blood of Jesus, I have been redeemed! I have been rescued from the power of the enemy. Satan has no power over my life. I have been set free from his domain and translated to the kingdom of Jesus Christ! By the blood of Jesus all my sins have been forgiven. ALL MY SINS HAVE BEEN FORGIVEN!” Confession 2 1 John 1:7 NKJV “But if we walk in the light as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin.” The blood of Jesus has cleansed us and keeps on cleansing us from our weakness. “Because I walk in the light, the blood of Jesus Christ is cleansing me right now and continuously of all sin and all wickedness.” CONFESS the previous confession and then this one. Confession 3 Romans 5:8-9 NKJV “God shows His love to us, in that while we were still sinners Christ died for us. We are justified by His blood.” This confession is that the blood has given me justification. 2 Corinthians 5:21 NKJV “For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.”

When we make the confession about what the blood did for us we are rebuking the accusing spirit of guilt and condemnation. He tries to tell us that in the past we did terrible thing. We rise up and tell him that by the blood of Jesus I have been justified and God sees me as if I have never committed sin. Confession – “By the blood of Jesus, I have been justified and God sees me as if I have never sinned.” Repeat the previous confessions and this one. “By the blood of Jesus, I have been redeemed! I have been rescued from the power of the enemy. Satan has no power over my life. I have been set free from his domain and translated to the kingdom of Jesus Christ!” “Because I walk in the light, the blood of Jesus Christ is cleansing me right now and continuously of all sin and all wickedness.” “By the blood of Jesus, I have been justified and God sees me as if I have never sinned. Confession 4 Hebrews 13:12 NKJV “Therefore Jesus also, that He might sanctify the people with His own blood, suffered outside the gate. The blood of Jesus makes us holy. God sees us as pure and holy. The nature of God is holiness. In God there has never been sin. When we confess by the blood of Jesus, “I have been sanctified,” we are decreeing that the character of God, the character of holiness is within our lives. Hebrews 11:22-24 NKJV “But you have come to Mount Zion, to the heavenly Jerusalem, the city of the living God. You have come to thousands upon thousands of angels in joyful assembly, 23to the church of the firstborn, whose names are written in heaven. You have come to God, the judge of all men, to the spirits of righteous men made perfect, “to Jesus the Mediator of the new covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling that speaks better things than that of Abel. Confession – “By the blood of Jesus I’ve been redeemed. I have been rescued from the power of the enemy. Satan does not have any power over my life because I have been set free from his dominion and have been translated into the kingdom of Jesus Christ by the blood of Jesus. All of my sins have been forgiven by the blood of Jesus. I am renewed because I walk in the light. The blood of Jesus is cleansing me now and continuously of all sin by the blood of Jesus. I am made righteous. God sees me as if I have never sinned by the blood of Jesus. I am made holy. Lord Jesus, thank you for your blood because now it testifies on my behalf. It rebukes the dragon, the old serpent, the demons, the forces of wickedness, the blood of Jesus itself rebukes sickness, rebukes oppression, it rebukes the curse, it rebukes anguish and the evil is cast out of my home…. Out of my ministry.. out my finances… out of my life… out of my family… now the power of Jesus Christ lives, lives, lives within me!
