Introduction
B-SIM is a blow-moulding simulation commercial software (provided by
Accuform), that uses Finite Element Analysis.
Main features (more advanced version):
- Extrusion of the parison (with parison programming)
- Stretch blow-moulding from preform
- Viscoelastic model (K-BKZ)
- Temperature dependency
- Imports general 3D models from CAD packages
- Several tools can be used in a single project
- Time dependent parison sagging
- Friction between stretched plastic and plug
- Heat transfer plastic/mould and plastic/air
