ERA is an initiative of Educational
Assessment and Rating
Foundation. It conducts Uni-GAUGE PG Medical and
Dental 2015 (Uni-GAUGE PGMD-2015).
Uni-GAUGE PG MD 2015 is an examination for
candidates seeking admission to Participating Member
Universities/institutions in their PG courses during
academic year 2015-16.
ERA will provide a test score for Uni-GAUGE PG
Medical and Dental 2015". This score will be the
basis/criteria for grant of PG medical admission and dental
admission by participating Universities/Institutions.
Some of the deemed universities are in the list of the
participating institutions. They are JSS University, Sri
Devaraj Urs University, etc.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
Candidates seeking PG admission for MD/MS/medical
diploma courses and MDS course should meet all requirements
stipulated by MCI/DCI.
Candidates should have successfully passed M.B.B.B/B.D.S.
For PG admission only Candidates who have completed
internship or who are due to complete internship before 30th
April 2015 are eligible for the academic year 2015-16.

As per the existing Post Graduate Regulation of MCI and DCI,

the minimum percentage of marks in the Entrance test (UniGAUGE PGMD-2015) for eligibility & admission to Post
Graduate Courses shall be 50% for General Merit candidates
and 40% for SC/ST/OBC candidates.

APPLICATION FEE DETAILS
For PG admissions to medical courses and dental courses in
private medical colleges and dental colleges, candidates must fill
the application form and submit it along with the relevant
documents and prescribed fees.

Fees for submission of the application form of the UniGAUGE PGMD 2015 is Rupees Two thousand five
hundred (INR 2500/-).
This fee is non-refundable.
Uni-GAUGE PGMD-2015 test scores are valid for admissions for
the academic year 2015-2016 only.

ENTRANCE EXAM PATTERN
Uni-GAUGE PG MD 2015 entrance exam pattern for PG
admissions in Sri Devaraj Urs Medical College, JSS Medical
College and other institutions is:
The time allotted for the test would be 180 minutes (3
hours).
The test will begin on 15/02/2015 at 10:00 AM and end at
01:00 PM.
This is an online test i.e. computer based test.
Each correct answer is awarded one mark.
There will be no negative marks for wrong answer.
If there is a tie in the score, participating Member
Universities will adopt methods to break tie to determine
the inter-se merit.
