Protocol for Contacting Missionaries
DO…
 Pray for the work of your missionaries.
 Pray for the missionaries’ people group, city, or seminary with
which they are engaged.
 Remember the birthday and anniversary of your missionaries.
 Save your change in your “Change the World” coin bank.
 Let the missionaries know your needs and that of your family
if they ask, but keep them foremost in your concern.
 Be sensitive to their busy lifestyle and aware of possible
delays in communication and response.
DON’T...
 Be discouraged by a slow response from your missionaries.
 Violate privacy and security issues.
 Be shocked by their situation or their humanity. Many are
“wounded warriors who keep fighting.”
 Contact them more than they want you to, remembering that
some are either more private in their personalities, or
restrained because of security issues.
 Deemphasize those who serve in North America.
 Let your lack of funds at times prevent your connection and
prayer.

How To Give God What He Wants The Most

Chip Ingram: Wednesday, February 3, starting at 6:30 p.m. in the Chapel
What most Christians sadly misunderstand is that God isn’t into religious activities or
performance-based Christianity. Instead, Chip’s message will reveal to us a relational
profile of what it means to be a disciple, as well as a proven pathway to becoming more
like Jesus each day.

• If you’ve become stagnant in your spiritual growth, START HERE.

• If you’ve become disengaged with your church experience, START HERE.
• If you are a new believer and unsure of how to grow spiritually, START HERE.
• If you are a mature Christian and are looking for a pathway to disciple others, START HERE.

Are you ready for the journey of your lifetime? START HERE.

Awestruck Ministries, Inc.

Reverence ~ Holiness ~ Compassion

Join us in prayer for Byron Cobb and Charles Keen – our team
that is in Baja California Sur, Mexico right now!
Awestruck’s philosophy and church planting efforts are basic and achievable.
Our viewpoint is inspired by the word of God: "Go therefore into all the world
and make disciples of all men". Our management approach calls for:
 Scalable, measured, sustainable results
 Low-overhead, allowing maximum investment in church planting efforts
 Challenging our investors to support us with both prayer & financial gifts
 Development of indigenous pastoral staff & relevant partnerships

We work with and hire locals, who are personally vested in their nation's
spiritual progress and we empower them to make key
decisions within their country. They are already familiar
with the language, conditions, customs, and
governments and understand the specific needs of the
church planting movement in their national context.
If you are interested in sponsoring Awestruck's work
distributing the word of God, ministering to the fatherless,
providing hurricane relief, clothing the poor, and building
sustainable New Testament Churches in remote and
forgotten corners of our world, please contact us on our
webpage (www.awestruckministries.com) or make your
checks payable to Awestruck Ministries Inc., and mail it to
Awestruck Ministries Inc., P.O. Box 112404, Naples FL 34108.
Awestruck Ministries is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization, and all donations
are tax deductible.
Prayerfully consider joining us as we minister to orphans in Baja California,
Mexico. Our next two trips are scheduled for May 9-15,
2010, and May 30 - June 5, 2010. We are building a
team of 19 people for the first trip. On this trip, you will
have the opportunity to participate in a very special
Mother’s Day celebration. We are building a team of 10
people for the second trip. Visit our webpage, or call Michael at 239.253.7943
