General
This document illustrate how to use the field “Format” in the form Table Manager – Manage Tables –
Table Structure.
Format Syntax
[BASEFORMAT] [EXFORMAT]
Parameters
BASEFORMAT
The format function applied to all the text in the column as described in the pages below. Optional.
EXFORMAT (from version 2.0.12)
The format applied to all cell in the column. Optional. You must use the following tags inside the text:

[align=value]
[bgcolor=value]
[color=value]
[valign=value]

Horizontal alignment (value must be center or left or right)
Background color
Text color (default)
Vertical alignment (value must be top or middle or bottom or baseline)

ANCHOR (A)
Used to display a hyperlink.
Value Syntax
HREF [TEXT]
Parameters
HREF
The destination URL.
TEXT
A optional text to display instead of HREF.
Note: The underscore “_” will be replaced with a space.

Used to display a hyperlink to a email address.

Used to display formatted text.

Numeric type
Number format
Used to customize the number representation.
Format Syntax
DECIMALS [ / DECIMALS_SEPARATOR [ / THOUSANDS_SEPARATOR ] ]
Parameters
DECIMALS
Number of decimals.
DECIMALS_SEPARATOR
The decimal separator. By default this parameter is set to a dot.
THOUSAND_SEPARATOR
The thousand separator. By default this parameter is set to a comma.

Date type
Date/time format
Used to customize the date/time representation.
Format Syntax
DATE_FORMAT | STRFTIME_FORMAT
Parameters
DATE_FORMAT
In this case the value will be formatted using the funcion date(). By default this parameter is set to “Y-md H:i:s”.
STRFTIME_FORMAT
In this case, where the string contains %, the value will be formatted using the funcion strfime()
according to locale settings.
