INTRODUCTION
1.0 Project Overview
1.1 This project about provision vessel rerating services for BRB 1V2700 Gas Lift Launcher.
The scope of work for this project is to check whether the new design calculation is
accepted or not with the new design temperature 62.5 degC. Then, to ensure the new
design temperature (62.5 degC) is meet the 900# flange rating per ASME B16.5 Table 2
1.1 for ASTM A 105 N material.
1.2 Brief description of the Gas Lift Launcher is as follow:
The design pressure (DP) of 14770 kpag is to be remained the same
The mechanical strength calculation shall be as per ASME code B31.8 Gas
Transmission and Distributing Piping System.
The proposal of support design for PURCHASERs evaluation and considerations.
Supply one unit of new rerating nameplate.

Component : Eccentric Reducer

Based on ASME B31.8-2010, under Chapter III Piping System Components & Fabrication Details,
Para.831.3.1 (b) (Standard Fittings) stated that "Steel buttwelding fittings shall comply with either
ASME B16.9 or MSS SP-75 and shall have pressure & temperature ratings based on stresses for pipe
of the same or equivalent material. For adequacy of fitting design, the actual bursting strength of fittings
shall at least equal the computed bursting strength of pipe of the designated material and wall thickness".

So, Eccentric Reducer thickness is based on the Shell 1 and Shell 2 thickness.
