Accepting credit cards is important to your business. We offer competitive

Discover, American Express, Diners, PayPal and EBT transactions. Credit cards
can increase your revenue in three ways:

• Your customers can “buy now and pay later”
1

• Data Breach Protection

DATA BREACH PROTECTION
Data breaches are not reserved for the big box stores. In fact,
industry experts report that merchants who process 20,000 or fewer
transactions (level 4 merchants) account for 85% of identified data
compromises. That’s why we provide a Breach Protection Program
for each qualifying merchant. This no deductible policy provides up
to $50,000 of protection per incident* of data breach from a system/
network intrusion or physical loss such as card skimming, stolen
receipts or computers, or employee theft of card information. These
funds can assist in covering the following substantial costs:
• Forensic audit required of a merchant when a data breach is
suspected
• Fees, fines and related expenses associated with a data breach
• All merchants that process fewer than 6,000,000 transactions
and who have not had a data compromise qualify for
protection.
*Protection is provided at the merchant ID (MID) level and is available for multiple location merchants for additional cost.

EMV: A MORE Secure way to pay
Named after its original developers, Europay, Mastecard, Visa or EMV chip technology is becoming
the global standard for credit and debit payments. EMV enabled cards contain a tiny computer
chip that communicates with EMV enable payment terminals and provides an additional level of
encrypted security to protect transaction information.
EMV HISTORY
• Used in Europe since 1992, dramatically
decreasing card present fraud
ROLLOUT
• In April of 2013 Visa and Mastercard
required payment processors to be able
to accept EMV data
• On 10/1/15, Visa/Mastercard mandate
goes into effect requiring EMV adoption
by merchants
• After 10/1/15, Merchants without EMV
capability are at risk of being held liable
for card present fraud
ADDITIONAL IMPACT
• As mandate approaches, equipment costs are likely to rise as demand for EMV capable equipment
increases
