Intercede with Us for the Muslim World!

Blessed are those whose strength is in you... As they pass through the Valley of Baka, they make it a place of springs; the
autumn rains also cover it with pools. They go from strength to strength... (Ps. 84:5-7, NIV).
Pray for those working among Muslims, that they may be strong and bring Living Water to the arid valleys!

Today's Prayer Requests: From Students, Alumni, and Missionaries
CHAD: An alumnus serving as a missionary to Chad directs a Bible school and has planted a church with the
intention of training and sending out church planters. About 55% of Chad's people are Muslims, and this ministry is
vital to reaching them. This missionary shares several requests; let's pray with him for these needs:
• For the two churches planted in 2014, one by the church and another by the Bible school students in partnership
with the church. Pray for their leaders and for their witness in the community.
• For a growing vision for church planting. The central church has a vision to plant at least one church every year.
• We have Muslims neighbors who have expressed kindness and friendship but who are not yet integrated into the
church. We continue to pray for them.
• For finances and infrastructure, especially dormitories, for the Bible school. We have sixteen students, two of
whom are women, who are there with their families.

In the News
Please continue to pray for Pastor Saeed Abedini, held in prison in Iran, and his family. His father returned this week
to Iran after several months in the U.S. Pastor Saeed's wife, Naghmeh, asks for prayer for him, that he may be able to
resume his weekly visits to his son and receive updates. Saeed's mother recently arrived in the U.S. and cannot return
because of threats. Please pray for strength and encouragement for this family, and for Pastor Saeed's health and
release. Pray that through it all, God will be glorified and many will find Him. Naghmeh writes, “I want to encourage
you not to be afraid or dismayed with all of the news out there. The Lord is using it to show the world the difference
between Light and dark, between truth and lie, between relationship and freedom found only in Christ and religion and
bondage (found in any religion).”

From Global Initiative*
Pray for Christian workers in Oman. An Arab state located in the Arabian Gulf, Oman has a population of 4 million;
75 percent are Muslims. Migrant workers, mostly from India and other South Asian nations, make up some 30% of
Oman's population. Some of these are believers. Proselytizing is illegal; pray that their lives of faith will speak loudly
to their Omani neighbors and open doors of witness.

For Muslim Women
Pray for Christian women who are teaching English as a Second Language to Muslim women. Pray that through this
service, they may develop friendships with their students and may find wonderful opportunities to introduce them to
their Best Friend, Jesus.
