Presidential Senior Executive Service (SES) appointment – Chief Investment Officer and Executive Director
Directed the Office of the Special Trustee for American Indians to protect and preserve Indian trust assets. Directed and
supervised the functions of an asset management company including supervision of 700 employees with a budget of $153
million for FY 2012 and was a direct report to the Secretary of Interior. Directed the asset allocation, investment strategy
and portfolio construction of approximately $4.3 Billion in trust funds, including $1.0 Billion for the US Treasury and the
oversight of approximately 56 million acres of real estate, which is the largest land trust in the United States.

Billion Cash Management fund, $2 Billion defined contribution program, multiple 403 b programs and $800 million 529
Program. Responsible for the active investment strategy, due diligence, selection, monitoring, risk management,
alternative investments, trading, auditing, operational and administrative functions.
