High School as the first public tenant on Governors Island. Step one: The Oyster Dock
(classroom and oyster farm) was designed, built and made operational in summer 2009.
Waterfront Access Plans: Feasibility and funding for Stuyvesant Cove, Roosevelt Island and
Pier 76 Manhattan.
Legion Software: Trained in proprietary pedestrian modeling software. Management of
pedestrian modeling projects for Amtrak, Metro North, Boston Metro and others.
Peugeot Automobiles: Urban design expert for the Innovation in Mobility campaign.

Pedestrian Engineering in Times Square (2003 – 2004)

5 Month Project direction, facilitation, management and design with the client team (Times
Square BID & Event Planners, Traffic Engineers, and NYC agencies)
Results: Streetscape Redesign (eventually Broadway closures) more than doubling square feet
for people in the City’s most dense pedestrian environments.

Successful start-up transportation infrastructure consulting company in lower Manhattan
(January 1995 – January 2004)

First company employee. Ran with all aspects of business development, project management
and execution, hiring, training growing to 50 persons in 10 years.
Principal in Charge of all urban design, master planning and community facilitation, emergency
management and strategic infrastructure projects.
Executed multiple projects simultaneously at a variety of scales with several millions dollar
construction budgets.
Clients included: Consolidated Edison of New York, IKEA, The Brooklyn Museum of Art,
Madison Square Garden, The Battery Park City Authority, Columbia University, Lower
