Box of Justice
Justice Matters Update:
As an immediate next step for the mental health working group, Justice Matters proposes that all public stakeholders in Lawrence conduct a fact-finding mission to San Antonio, TX in April to
investigate a successful system that diverts mentally ill inmates into
treatment instead of jail.

Heroes of the Faith

Winter Worship Series

(January 11-February 8)

In a world of superheroes and comic book figures, it is

sometimes easy to forget that the real heroes of our faith
have always been those who take their ordinary gifts and
allow God to use them in extraordinary ways. Join us as we
explore those heroes of the faith that give us hope for how
we, too, can save the world!

Thank you to all who have participated in the Youth Mentor
Program. Because of you, our expectations for the program
have been blown out of the water! The mentorships are proving to be good for the youth, and for the mentors, too! I believe that the communication and family-feel we are trying to
sustain within the church and all of its different missions is
starting to mold very nicely. This will be a great and unique
foundation to build the youth group on for the coming years!
It is a blessing to me, the youth leaders, and the youth.
Blessings! Cody

Dear Pastor Matt and members of FBC Lawrence,
Thank you so very much for your kind invitation to
come speak in your church on Jan. 12. We so enjoyed
the delicious sandwiches, the fellowship, and being able
to share with you how God is working in Bulgaria and in
the Baptist Churches there. We thank you for all your
church has done for us, and for the generous check you
gave us to help with our travel expenses. You are a
blessing to us!
