,
their dimensions and how to play
Playing surface: Matches may be played on natural or artificial surfaces,
according to the rules of the competition.
Dimensions: The field of play must be rectangular. The length of the touch
line must be greater than the length of the line.
Length: minimum 90 m. Maximum 120 m.
Width: minimum 45 m. Maximum 90 m.
International Matches:
Length: minimum 100 m. Maximum 110 m.
Width: minimum 64 m. Maximum 75 m.
Marking the field: The field of play is marked with lines. These lines belong
to the areas demarcated. The two longer boundary lines are called touch
lines. The two shorter lines are called goal. All lines have a width of 12 cm or
less. The field of play is divided into two halves by a halfway line. The
midfield will be marked with a dot in the middle of the middle line, which is
drawn around a circle with a radius of 9.15 m .
Target area: The target area , located at both ends of the field , is to
demarcate follows: Two lines are drawn perpendicular to the line , at 5.5 m
from the inner portion of each post goal. These lines extend into 5.5 m in
the field and are joined by a line parallel to the goal line . The area bounded
by these lines and the goal line is the goal area.
The criminal area: The penalty area is at both ends of the pitch, will
demarcate as follows: Two lines are drawn perpendicular to the goal line,
16.5 m from the inside of each goalpost. These lines extend into 16.5 m in
the field and are joined by a line parallel to the goal line. The area bounded
by these lines and the goal line is the penalty area. In each area will be a
marked criminal penalty to 11 m from the midpoint between the goalposts
and equidistant to them. Outside each penalty area is plotted also a
semicircle with a radius of 9.15 m from the penalty spot.
Flags : Each corner is marked with a pole pointed with a pennant . The
minimum height of the post will be 1.5 m high . Additional flags may be
placed at each end of the halfway line, at a distance of 1 m outside the
sidelines.

The area of the corner arc A circle with a radius of 1 m from each corner flag
inside the pitch.
Goals: Goals must be placed in the center of each goal line . They consist of
two upright posts equidistant from the corner flags and joined at the top by
a horizontal bar (crossbar ) . The distance between the posts is 7.32 m and
the distance from the lower edge of the crossbar to the ground is 2.44 m .
Both goalposts and the crossbar have the same width and thickness , up to
12 cm . The goal lines are the same width as the goalposts and the crossbar.
Nets may be attached to the goals and the ground behind the goal ,
provided that they are properly supported and do not interfere with the
goalkeeper. The goalposts and crossbars must be white .
Safety: Goals must be anchored securely to the ground. Portable goals may
be used only if this condition is met .

Corner flag pole : The corner flag post is required.
