Vision
In the pursuit of truth, Union College envisions itself as a

institution established to prepare young men and women
to search for truth and to develop a purposeful and

Mandate and Functions
The University shall primarily provide advanced education, professional,
technological and vocational instruction in agriculture, fisheries, forestry, science, engineering,
industrial technologies, teacher education, medicine, law, arts and sciences, information
technology and other fields. It shall also undertake research and extension services, and provide
progressive leadership in its areas of specialization
