About Qaanols Plug-ins for EV

Nova 1.1
If youre just looking to plug and play, use Archives, Beam Fix, Chaingun Fix,
and CPL Fix all together. Users of EV Nova 1.0.A, also called 1.0.10, which is
the latest Windows version at the time of this writing, should also use
Telepathic Beams from the Other Versions Nova 1.0.A folder.
Im glad you downloaded this group of plug-ins. Most fix bugs and some add
gameplay features. All are compatible with ARPIA 2 and many are compatible
with Plug Pack. These plug-ins were designed around EV Nova 1.1. Enjoy.
If, on Mac OS, after expanding Qaanols Plug-ins.zip you end up with
MacBinary .bin files, expand them with The Unarchiver, Archive Utility,
StuffIt Expander, or similar. On Windows, run the MacBinary files through the
plug-in converter application in your Nova folder. Place the plug-ins you want
to use in the standard location, which for EV Nova 1.1 on Mac is /Users/your
username/Library/Application Support/EV Nova/Plug-Ins.
Among the bugs fixed here are the beam stacking bug that make Ion
Cannons and BRLs not stack at all, and a bug that makes more than one Hail
Chaingun fire too slowly. Eight Ion Cannons in the stock game are no more
deadly than one, and six Hail Chainguns are only twice as strong as one.
That all changes now.
The Vell-os escape pod bug is also fixed, or at least worked around, so if you
lose abilities when you eject you can relearn them, and the Vell-os Area Map
now updates every day.
All included plug-ins are listed below, along with brief descriptions of what
they do. After youve tried them, please take the time to go back to the EV
Nova add-ons page and rate this package based on how much you like your
favorite part.
