Roycemore Self Study Timeline

IN THE YEAR PRECEDING THE SELF-STUDY (Year 1)

See that the school and board review, revise (as necessary), and re-endorse the
schools statements of mission, philosophy, and goals
See that the curriculum guide is revised and current, and provides a succinct
description of the scope and sequence of the program. Consider creating a
streamlined version.
Undertake a survey of all constituents
Develop a committee structure to undertake the self-study, creating the appropriate
committees necessary to address all the topics required to be studied by an ISACS
accreditation; incorporate all the faculty and administration, as well as representatives
from parents and trustees.
Create a calendar for the self-study that may included in-service meeting times
(portions of All School Faculty meetings, beginning March 5, will be devoted to
Self-Study committee meetings, in addition to meeting times set by Committee
chairs)
IN THE YEAR OF THE SELF-STUDY (Year 2)
Decide on global questions to ask, if any, or themes to pursue across all committees
(How will your self-study area effect change in achieving our vision of excellence
in the School?)
