“A Celebration of the Holy Spirit”
And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh (Acts 2:17) Perspective Attendee: As you may already know, on April 9, 1906 in unmistakable reminiscence to the experience of the 120 disciples in the Upper Room, the Holy Spirit fell upon a group of believers led by a black Methodist preacher named William Seymour. This spiritual event marked the beginning of what became one of the most powerful moves of God in modern religious history—the Azusa Street Revival! For a continuous period of 3½ years believers from all over the U.S. and throughout the world, made their way to 312 Azusa Street in Los Angeles, California for one, singular purpose—to experience for themselves a personal encounter with the Holy Spirit! This year, from June 20-21, we once again revive and celebrate the spirit of Azusa! For this reason we are inviting Spirit-filled pastors and their congregations throughout the region: ~ to cross ethnic, racial, class, and denominational lines; ~ to come together in the love of God as one united body; ~ to experience a genuine, fresh outpouring of the joy and power of the Holy Spirit; ~ to witness in true operation the gifts of the Holy Ghost; ~ to provide the opportunity for seeking believers to experience their own personal baptism in the Holy Spirit; and ~ to spark an ongoing Holy Ghost Revival here in the region to spread nationwide. Our dynamic speakers for Azusa ’08 include: ~ Keynote Speaker: Pastor D.L. Jones - Newark, DE (Friday, June 20, 7PM) ~ Evangelist Douglas Hosmer - Syracuse, N.Y. (Saturday, June 21, 9AM ) ~ Dr. Andrew Holtz - Wilmington, DE (Saturday June 21, 6PM) For adults, throughout Saturday afternoon there will be seminar sessions especially designed to instruct us concerning centrality of the Holy Spirit’s role in the believer’s life, the worship context, and the work of the ministry. (Speakers TBA). As a special feature, for teens ages 13 to 17 a separate Azusa schedule of worship services, gospel music, forums, a movie viewing, etc. are planned for all day Saturday! Registration is FREE and all are invited to attend! All Conference events will be held at the John M. Clayton Hall Conference Center on the University of Delaware campus located off Route 896 on David Hollowell Drive, Newark, DE. We hope to be able to fellowship with you, and pray that your participation in this Conference will make this multi-cultural, interdenominational event celebrating the Holy Spirit a divine and grand success! In His Service,

D.L. Jones, Conference Founder Immanuel Assembly
