Donate Centerpieces

Many couples choose to forgo

wedding favors and instead donate
to a charity meaningful to them.

A wedding is a perfect opportunity to

give back to those less fortunate. A
great way to give back is by dona.ng
your lebover food to local food
banks!

Aber your wedding, you can donate

your centerpieces and arrangements
to synagogues, hospitals, nursing
homes, or other loca.ons. You can
also donate to Flower Power
Founda.on, which re-assembles
arrangements and gives them to
thousands of elderly, sick and
terminally ill in NYC and LA.

Brides can also donate their gown

to Brides Against Breast Cancer or
Brides for a Cause.
Some venues also give back to the
community. The Prince George
Ballroom donates 100% of its net
revenue to NYC outreach programs
to help the homeless and others in
need. 230 Fibh provides funding to
m e d i c a l i n s . t u . o n s s u c h a s
Memorial Sloan-KeTering, New
York-Presbyterian and Lenox Hill.

Find a local food bank or food rescue

opera.on at Feeding America.

You can also contact Special E, which

"rescues" items leb over from special
events such as owers, centerpieces,
dcor and more, then repurposes
them in ways that benet our planet
and people in need.
