Dear Freedom of Information and Louisiana Public Records Act Officers,
This letter is a second attempt in regards to the request sent by certified mail February 20, 2015
under the Freedom of Information Act and the Louisiana Public Records Act.
To date we still have not received any response from the Calcasieu Parish District Attorneys Office
to the request. An additional courtesy copy of the original request is attached.
Section 44:32(D) of the Louisiana Public Records Act requires a response within three business
days.

In the original FOIA request, I requested that a copy of the following documents [or documents
containing the following information] be provided:
1. Accounting summary report for 2014 that details marketing, advertising and public service
announcements cost by vendor with monthly totals or according to any fiscal calendar. If no
accounting summary report is available, provide cost reports showing the Calcasieu Parish
District Attorneys office marketing, advertising and public service announcements for dates
Jan 1, 2014 to Dec 31, 2014.
2. In addition, please provide open balances or trailing cost on Dec 31, 2014 for all marketing
cost in 2014. Please include the name of the vendor on each vendor with open balances.
In order to help to determine my status to assess fees, you should know that I am an individual
seeking information, and this request is made as part of information/ news gathering, and not for
commercial use.
I request a waiver of all fees for this request. Disclosure of the requested information to me is in the
public interest because it is likely to contribute significantly to public understanding of the
operations or activities of the government and is not primarily in my commercial interest.
