CGGV040
Aseismic zone
Subducted Seamount
there has been no great
earthquakes for the last 200
years [Sieh et al., 2008]

Previous and current study

Haiyang Wang worked with FWI
on CGGV010 (locked zone)
revealing LVZ
Huot and Singh also found the
LVZ beneath the CGGV020 line
(across ruptured zone)
I and Gabriel will work on
CGGV040
is there LVZ on CGGV040 ???

What we will do?

Question
Is it necessary to do Downward

shallowest bathymetry = 200 m
Deepest Bathymetry
= 1.9 km
