To my honorable lecturer and my beloved friends, ladies and gentlemen good morning, First

of all we would like to thank god , because by his grace we still have a chance today to stand
in front of you to deliver our presenation. Then we would like to introduce our self , we are
from chemical engineering and my name is___. The presentation today which we would like
to deliver to you all is about water and some problem or some common issue which related to
the water it self. Ladies and gentlemen before we go straight to the main point, I would like to
explain to you about what is water, I think all creature in the earth need water , espesially
human, because humans body contains 55-78 percent of water , if less than that we may have
some problem with our health such as dehydration that can lead to death. So I think that water
has an important role in our life. Beside its important for drinking purpose, water has many
function in our life such as in the hydro power plant which use the water specifically
waterfall to turn the turbine so that it will provide electricity for us to do our activities. and in
industry sectors water is use as cooler,as liquid that will be added to another material and etc.
Ladies and gentlemen there are also problems which related to the water, such as flood, lack
of clean water, poluted water and etc, but today we are going to explain to you all just about
flood . ladies and gentlemen flood is a condition where the volume of the water exceed the
capacity of the water in rivers, lake, and reservoirs that lead the overflow of water to
surrounded area .this condition can happen because of many factors such as, extreme
weather, rubbish which thrown in the river , sedimentation and constriction of the river it self.
And also illegal logging.
Ladies and gentlemen to slove the problem we have some solution such as:

First, as a good citizen we must stop littering on the wrong place

Second, as a good businessman , dont just think about the provit which you got from
illegal logging or burning the forest for the business purpose, but you must think the
impact of what youve done to the environment and for your next generation.
Third , goverment should do deforestation and also recover the poluted river
Fourth, the punishment sould be given to anyone that breaks the rules such as littering
and illegl logging

The conclusion for the speech today is ,flood is one of the disaster that often occur in
Indonesia, but not every flood that occur in Indonesia are cause by the nature it self, but some
are happen because of the human fault. As we already know that there are so many people
that only think about themself but they never think about the impact by doing illegal logging
or littering on the wrong place such as rivers,so that after this speech I want you all the good
people in this room please dont be like them, and please remind the people around you to
stop littering on the wrong place so that our nature will be balance and hopefully flood wont
never come to us again.
