his reward.” Psalm 127:3. What a busy time it has been since our last prayer letter! We have since found out that Tonya is expecting our first child. What a blessing to have the opportunity to raise a child in the nurture and admonition of the Lord. We pray that God will give us wisdom in raising this child for His honor and glory. We desire to be the best parents we can be and that our child may one day also come to a saving faith in our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. We have been very busy on the road these last few months. We have traveled to Virginia, many parts of North Carolina, South Carolina, and Florida. Praise the Lord; we now have 25% of our needed support to go to the mission field! Three churches have taken us on within a span of two weeks. We thank God for His faithfulness. We are scheduled to be back in Virginia, then in Chicago, then to fly to Peru for several weeks. These coming days will be full of travel, but also full of blessing. Pray for our safety as we travel. Starting in May, we will be taking a short trip to the Amazon of Peru. Jon will spend a little more than three weeks in Peru with an all male, short-term missions team; then Tonya will fly down for a couple of weeks for another team of all girls. We have mentioned MissionSports in prior letters. This is the group that heads up these teams to the Amazon of Peru. We are looking forward to spending time on another mission field, sharpening our spiritual gifts and ministry tools so that we will be fully prepared for the ministry God has prepared for us in Brazil.
Continue to pray as we schedule meetings that God will give us fruit for our labors, and that we will have opportunities to witness as we travel. We have already had numerous opportunities to do this, and we hope for many more. Pray that God will strengthen us as we travel, especially Tonya as she is pregnant and the travel is often difficult for her. Also, pray for Tonya’s parents, who are here in the States on furlough. Pray that God would give them a fruitful time here, and keep them safe as well. God continues to bless, and we hope to be on the mission field soon. GOD CAN DO IT!! Thank you for your faithful prayers and support.

“That ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light:”
