Background of the Association
a. The Philippine Association of Hotel Managers (PAMH) is a national
organization which aims to help hotel managers around the
Philippines on how they can manage, handle, and operate their
people. And it is also focused to the advancement of their
managing styles and techniques.
b. PAMH is originally created to produce hotel managerial
congresses to share the knowledge on how to become a good
manager. Nowadays it puts greater emphasis on activities of
various aspects in the field to help and to further train hotel
mangers.
c. The PAMH sponsors and co-sponsors meetings, events,
conventions, conferences, symposia and forums on the topics
related to the field of hotel management.
d. PAMH has its member types for different experts in the hotel
managers societies. All enlisted hotel manager members are
regular members of PAMH under Member Society or Affiliated
Association Membership. In regions without a Member Society
can apply as Special Individual Members.
e. There are currently 10,000 members from all over the
Philippines.
f. The current location of the PAMH Headquarters is located at
Marcos Highway, Manila.

a. The conventions target market will be Hotel Managers (members


and non-members of PAMH), Management students, Hospitality
Management students, Hotel and Restaurant Management
Students and Managerial Post Graduates.
b. The association wishes to broaden the scope of its convention by
recruiting other type or kind of manages like but not limited to

Site Selection
a. Iloilo City has been reported in some journals and news as one of
the most beautiful and outstanding cities in the Philippines. It is a
progressing city and right now the local government of Iloilo City
is putting their effort to make Iloilo City as one of the most
beautiful cities in the entire Philippines. Iloilo City is a great place
for the convention, there are many hotels in which we can have
the conference. As a progressive city, Iloilo City can offer a wide
range of selection for the upcoming convention, not only that
participant s and guests will surely enjoy staying in Iloilo City for
the thing the city can offer.
b. According to the target market of the convention, and to the
organizer of the convention, Iloilo City, being one of the most
progressive city in the heart of Visayas is capable to attract
delegates from surrounding and neighboring regions. Delegates
can freely enjoy beautiful places in the city with worrying to
travel far from the convention destination. This saves the fare
and the tome cost of the potential delegates.
c. After deep consideration the organizer chose the INJAP Tower
located at Mandurriao, Iloilo City fronting SM City Iloilo as the
best place for holding a three day convention. INJAP Tower is one
of the newest hotel and convention center in Iloilo City and it is
the highest in terms of building structure so far. It is owned by
Engr.Edgar INJAP Sia, one of the elites in Iloilo City. INJAP
TOWER offers a wide range of possibilities and accommodations,

within the INJAP Tower there are restaurants, Spas, boutiques and
convenient stores, plus INJAP Tower has a perfect location, it is
infront of SM City Iloilo, it is also near Smallvile Complex and
Iloilo Esplanade. Function rooms are able to accommodate 300500 people. The expected number of delegates for this
convention is about 350 persons.

a. From Iloilo Airport to the Venue
i. Iloilo City is renowned for its beauty and progressiveness.
Iloilo International Airport which located on a province of
Iloilo, specifically Cabatuan, Iloilo is a busy, well developed
airport with daily domestic and international flights and
catering to different airlines like Cebu Pacific, Philippine
Airlines and Tiger Air. It is approximately 30-45 mins. drive
by car from INJAP Tower.

a. Since the convention will be held at INJAP Tower, it most
convenient to book rooms for the delegates to stay at the same
venue. INJAP Tower offers both Function Rooms as well as Hotel
Rooms. So it will be easy just to book rooms in INJAP Tower for

Social Program
a. Social Programs or tours will be offered in the convention during
the free time schedule. It is optional for the delegates to join the
social programs. This social program includes a tour in famous
places in Iloilo City like but not limited to Iloilo Esplanade.
Accompanying person and children are welcome to join too. An
additional fee will be charged for joining the social program. The
fee includes hotel pick-up, drop-off service, and tour coach. Price
exclude tip and other personal expenditure.

i. The Gala dinner is the last event of the three-day
convention for hotel managers. All the delegates will be
able to participate in the dinner event with their
