Students have an opportunity to make a homemade Valentines card

NAB is presenting Valentines Day card table. This event allows students to decorate their own
Valentines Day cards.
People in my committee thought we needed some type of event for Valentines Day, said
Jaclyn True, Pryor sophomore. We discussed it and came up with decorating cards.
Students may have seen the event advertised across campus throughout the month.
Tarah Satterfield comes up with unique promotion ideas for each and every event, said Ashton
Beauvais, Oktaha sophomore. For this event she has quarter page hand-outs she will be handing
out to promote the event as well as displaying it on the chalkboard in the basement by the Fit.
This is the second year for NAB to present this event to students for Valentines Day and they
can choose to make cards for veterans as well.
Home-made cards say a lot more than store bought ones in my opinion, said Dillan Davis,
Inola sophomore. Plus they are free to make, and even if youre not with someone at the
moment, every mom loves hearing shes her kids Valentine.
All materials will be provided by NAB along with tables and chairs set up for students
participating.
The event starts at 10 a.m. and ends at 4 p.m. on Feb. 12 in the UC Underground. The Cupid is
Stupid Dance Party will follow at 8 p.m. in the UC Ballroom.
