Intercede with Us for the Muslim World!

For the message of the cross is sheer nonsense for those who are lost, but for us who are being saved, it is the power of God
(1 Cor. 1:18, Sharif Bible).
What a sacrificethe perfect Lamb of God who laid down His life for sinful men! We remember this act on Good Friday
and rejoice in our redemption. But for our Muslim friends, this is sheer nonsense, for Jesus, a good man and prophet, is
not the Son of God, and no man can die for the wrongdoings of another. Let's pray this week that they will consider the
reality of their own sin and need for a Redeemer sent by the God who truly loves them.

Today's Prayer Requests: From Students, Alumni, and Missionaries

CHAD: Please pray for the missionary who oversaw the building project at the Bible school here in March. He is still
is West Africa and has been diagnosed with blood clots in his legs. Pray that the Lord will speed his healing so that he
can fly home next week.
NIGERIA: Presidential opposition candidate Muhammadu Buhari won the election, it was announced Tuesday. In
accordance with their agreement to respect the outcome, incumbent Goodluck Jonathan conceded by phone. Please
pray for peace during the coming days. The new president is a Muslim from the north, and most Christians fear
increased persecution and growing strength of Boko Haram and Islam. Intercede for Buhari, that he may come to
know true Peace. Pray for the churches and believers in Nigeria, for their protection and strong testimony.
What if you were told Leave your faith or be shot dead? See this interview with a pastor who tells of some who
were confronted by Boko Haram: http://tinyurl.com/obcdsm8.

In the News
Yemen, an impoverished country on the Arabian Peninsula, is in crisis as Shi'ite rebels, known as Houthi, and Sunni
Al-Qaida forces both seek to take control of the nation. The president fled this past week, and more than 335,000
people have been displaced as the conflict spreads. Christians are few and suffer persecution from both factions.
Please pray for the believers there, that they would have opportunities to quietly share their faith, and that the Spirit
would open Muslim hearts. For more information, read this interview with one believer: http://tinyurl.com/ovftxe5.

From Global Initiative*

Pray for the North African country of Tunisia. Ninety-nine percent of its 10.2 million people are Muslim. On March
18, terrorists opened fire on a museum in Tunis, killing 21 tourists and a Tunisian. On March 29 thousands of
Tunisians took to the streets in a show of unity against terrorism. Please pray that these people would question their
religion and seriously search for the Way of peace. Pray that the Lord would reveal himself to them and lead them to
those who can explain the gospel and establish them in their faith.

For Muslim Women**

Pray that God would provide financially for those whose involvement in compassion outreach to Muslim women
requires special funding.
