WORK HISTORY
July 2007-Present Executive Director, Woodlands Creek Senior Living Community
-Leading and developing a community comprised of 170 seniors and 65
team members. Responsible for resident care and well being.
Accountable for leading and developing, creating a “team”
environment and overall success of the campus. Managing payroll,
budget, and day to day operations. Oversight of all departments on the
campus including Dietary, Nursing, Housekeeping, Maintenance,
Marketing, Activities, and Administrative.

April 2005-July 2007 Store Team Leader, Pamida

-Operated a retail store generating 5 million dollars per year.
-Responsible for leading and developing the Team of 35 individuals
including the pharmacy department. Other responsibilities included
managing payroll, Inventory control, profit & loss, and all day to day
operations.

February 2001- Executive Director, Legacy Pointe Assisted Living/Independence Ridge

April 2005 Senior Living Apartments
-Operated a 68 unit assisted living facility and a 24 unit apartment
building for seniors on a 23 acre campus.
-Responsible for budget, payroll and expense control.
-Accountable for the following departments and the directors leading
them: Dietary,Nursing, Housekeeping, Maintenance, Marketing,
Activities, and Administrative.
-Interim Campus Director for 8 months due to the absence of a Director
in the Alzheimer’s facility. A positive cash flow was achieved in 18
months of a new operation on a 24 month goal at Legacy Pointe.

August 1999- Team Leader, Shopko

February 2001 -Operation of an 8.5 million dollar store, consisting of 90 team
members.
-Responsible for total store operations including payroll, expense
control, developing leaders and hourly team members, merchandising
and creating a “team “environment.
-Involved with inventories, new store openings, and mass
hires/recruiting.

January 1998- Assistant Team Leader, Shopko

August 1999 -Merchandise Support Team Leader, responsible for freight flow,
replenishment, in-stock and overall sales floor presentation.
-Responsible for the scheduling of 20-30 team members and managing
 payroll.
-Planned and participated in a new store opening. This consisted of
everything from mass hires to fixture building, freight coordination
and overall strategic planning for opening day.

May 1995- Assistant Team Leader, Target

January 1998 -Merchandise Flow Team Leader, responsible for the productivity of
approximately 30 team members.
-Accountable for receiving, stockroom, replenishment and team
development.
-Actively involved with schedule writing, coaching positive discipline,
poor performers and rewarding high performance.
