Preface:
I am writing this report about shoe industry. Here I describe shoe industry all
over the world and in Pakistan also. I gave all possible information about
consumer behavior about shoe industry. Here I also mention all necessary
information about SERVIS Shoe Store in SAHIWAL

Uses of shoes:
Shoes are use in many field of life like sports shoes, dress shoes, school shoes, and rough shoes.
Old civilized father-in-law gave a pair of shoes to his son-in-law for symbolize the transfer of
authority.
In 16th century, royal family use high heeled shoes to show that they are member of royal family.
Before the middle age, people are use rubber or plastic to cover the part of fingers down the foot.
But now a days, shoe is need for every men, women and also for kids. People are use shoe for
covering foot from dust and also for fashion.
Background of shoe industry:
Before the 10,000 years ago footwear is seen as the necessity of life.

Use of shoe:
Use of shoe is hurdle between the consumers behaviors. Sport man
purchases sport shoes. Dress shoes also have specific use. So consumer
behavior varies according to use.

Comfort:
Old people see comfort in shoes. They are less interested in stylish shoes.
For example old people like to purchase leather shoe that are comfort and
also can use long time. (nadeem, 2012)

Life style:
Consumer must purchase shoe according its standard and life style. For
example rich people purchase those shoe that is expensive and stylish and in
opposite side poor people purchase shoes only to cover their foot.

Consumer decision:
It also effect on consumer behavior. Consumer is purchase shoe according
own decision. Its decision may change with some reasons. Some time
consumer changes their decision for opposition of his relatives, friends and
hearing news of new brand. (WAQAS, 2012)
External factors:
1. Branded and non-branded shoes:
Most people like branded shoes. Branded shoes are best rather than nonbranded. First of all, some time it gave guarantee to back the shoe.
Secondly, mostly people are loyal of branded shoe. Third thing is that
branded shoes quality is better than non-branded. Fourth point is that
branded shoe can find every shoe outlet but branded shoes are only
available on specific shoe outlet. (rashishid, 2012)
2. Loyalty:
Loyalty is main factor that effect on consumer behavior. Hard coal loyal
consumer could not do experiment to purchase other brand of shoe. There
have chance to change the mind of brand switcher to purchase other brand.

3. Price:
Price is the main factor that effect on consumer behavior. To increase, profit,
seller of shoe less the price. People like to get best shoe in cheaper price.
Consumer spends his budget according to having money. (rashishid, 2012)
4. Quality:
Quality is main factor that can change fully to the consumer behavior. First of
all, consumer checks quality of shoes. Branded shoes have better quality in
the consumer point of view. His first preference is quality. (rashishid, 2012)
5. Behavior:
Behavior is main factor that effect on costumer and sales of shoe industry. If
one costumer doesnt agree with your behavior than he tells others and it
can cause of failure of a business. (rashishid, 2012)
6. Style:
Now a days, costumer demand fancy style. He cant purchase old style. He
searches that style that makes him differ from others. He demands new
style. (rashishid, 2012)
7. Relatives and family:
Relatives and family member also effect costumer decision. He wants to
purchase other brand but its family force to purchase other than his choice.
For example, On the occasion of weddings, Bridal and groom wear dress
according the family choice. (rashishid, 2012)
8. Seasons:
Costumer choice varies according the season. In winter costumer want warm
shoes that made by skins of animal. And in summer he wants that shoe that
only covers his foot and fancy also. It is my opinion.
9. Society:
Society can change the customer choice and mind also. It also effect on shoe
industry also. For example, Blochs and Panjabi demand shoes according
their society and culture.

Behavior of management like as in SERVIS MEGA
STORE every employee treats with god behavior.
Its management gave facilities of sitting and by sharing
information.
Weakness:
Sometime fault or defect is in shoes
Sometime costumer went due to high prices.
They have not own website in SAHIWAL.
Opportunities:
It can open more outlets.
It can agreement with local industries and introduce new trends.
It can sale more other products with agree NIKE and other industries.
Threats:
New international outlet can inter in shoe market in SAHIWAL.
BATA can open their store on high street where its main branch is run.

Conclusion:
After analyzing of shoe industry include that shoe is old invention and
now a days it become more fashionable. Now it making all over the
world.

SERVIS Shoe in SAHIWAL has all strengths that require for market
competition. But still it need to improve their management and quality
and should remain an eye on their competitors
