*Reservation is as per Rly.Bd.s L.No.E(MPP)2002/6/10 dated 17.06.11, the reserved places are SC
15%,ST 7.5% and OBC 27%, if the prescribed numberof person belonging either to the Scheduled

2. Training period and Training Place -- Training period will be as per Railway Boards letter dated
22.07..02 (RBE No. 119/2002) Training place will be Rail Spring Karkhana, Sithouli, Gwalior.
3. ELIGIBILITY : 3 Age Limit:- (a) Candidate must have completed 15 years and should not to have
completed 24 years of age as on 01.07.2014 \.
(b) The upper age limit may be relaxed by 5 years in case of SC/ST candidates and 3 years in case of
OBC candidates.
4. Educational qualification- The candidate must pass10th class examination or its equivalent(under 10+2
system) with 50% marks and ITI passed certificate in Fitter/ Millwright trade from a recognized Industrial
Training Institute affiliated to NCVT.
5. Stipend Stipend will be paid Rs. 2100/- per month as per instructions issued by Railway Board from
time to time.
6. The application and call letters must be filled by candidate in his/her in the box kept cut side ie own hand
writing in the given format on the full scape paper by ballpoint pen and dropped at Office of the Chief
Workshop Manager of the CWMs office (Personnel Branch/Recruitment Section), Rail Spring
Karkhana(North Central Railway , Sithouli, Gwalior (M.P.) Pincode 474 001. The following must be
annexed with application and call letter in the envelope.
Self addressed 02 envelopes size 11x5 in which one envelope must be pasted with minimum registered
postage stamp (Rs.27/-) (SC/ST candidates are being exempted for pasting of stamps).
The candidate has to paste 01 passport size recent photograph on the application form and 01 on the call
letter on the appropriate place. Photograph must be attested by Gazzetted Officer.
Candidate must ensure before submission of application that he/she is fulfilling qualifications and other
eligibility criteria, the administration has the right to cancel/reject such application at any stage of selection
process and if the candidate has been engaged for training, his/her candidature will be cancelled without
prior intimation.

7. Last Date:- The last date of receiving of the complete application form in all respects in the office is
from 12th September to 11th October, 2014. The candidates drop his/her application form in the box
placed at office of the Chief Workshop Manager, Rail Spring Karkhana, Sithouli Recruitment Section
(Personnel Branch) North Central Railway, Gwalior (Madhya Pradesh) in any working day between
10.30 to 16.30 Hrs (on Saturday 10.30 to 12:15 hrs.) from 12th September14 to 11th October, 2014.

8. Precautions for submission of application. The applicants address with pin code should be clearly
mentioned on call letter. Candidate's 01 recent passport size photograph on the appropriate place. Both
photographs should be attested by the

application will be accepted after the last date, Office of the Chief Workshop Manager, Rail Spring
Karkhana, Sithouli, Gwalior will not consider at the stage of engagement process under Act consider any
other correspondence at any stage of engagement process under the Act..
Application under Apprentice Act, 1961 for the year 2014-15 in Rail Spring Karkhana, North Central
Railway must be clearly mentioned on the envelope.
9. Selection Process: i. The selection of Act Apprentice for training will be done on the basis of merit list
prepared from the candidates who have applied & eligible in reference to the notification. There will be no
written exam or interview/oral exam in this selection.
ii. Merit list will be prepared on the basis of percentage of total marks obtained in 10 th or its equivalent exam
by a candidate from recognized educational Board/Institute iii. The calculation of percentage of marks will
be based on the total marks obtained in 10th or its equivalent exam from an educational Board/Institute and
not on the basis of marks of any subject or a group of subjects.
iv. If more than one candidate gets equal marks/percentage in 10th exam or its equivalent exam, then the
elder candidate whose date of birth is earlier will be higher in rank than the other whose date of birth will
come later.
v. Trade/Community/Category (reservation category) wise Select list will be prepared on the basis of merit.
vi. The candidates placed in the select list will be called for verification of documents in due time.
vii. The candidate will be declared fit for training after being given the medical fitness certificate on
successful medical examination by Authorised Railway Medical Officer if the candidate fails in medical
examination, his/her candidature will be cancelled and has no right for training.
viii. No daily allowance or Traveling allowance will be admissible to candidates come for verification of
documents.
ix. Hostel/Residential facility will not be provided to selected candidates they have to arrange themselves
10. The candidates who have already completed their training under Apprentice Act, 1961 from any
institute/establishment are not eligible to apply under this notification.
11. Agreement of TrainingThe selected candidate or his/her guardian (in case of minor) has to execute any
apprenticeship contract or agreement with employer before apprenticeship training as prescribed under the
Apprentice Act, 1961.
12. After completion of training every apprentice have to go to Trade Test conducted by Director General,
Employment, New Delhi.trade certificate. There is no guarantee of employment in railway on completion of
their training under Apprentices Act, 1961.
13. The decision of administration regarding selection of candidates and their training will be final, if on
later stage it is found that select candidate has given wrong/false information to his/her integrity then the
candidate will be dismissed without giving any notice.

1. Candidates belonging to all reserved categories should be bonafide Himachalis only. 2. An Ex
Serviceman will be as defined by the Department of Personnel, Govt. of HP and should belong to H.P.

2. PAY SCALES, ALLOWANCES: All the posts are purely on contract basis on a sum @ initial stage
of pay band attached to the post plus admissible Grade Pay and applicable Dearness Allowance
thereon. At present Pay Band attached to the respective posts i.e. Rs 10300/- with admissible Grade
Pay. Rs 3200/3. CONTRACT PERIOD:- Selected candidates will be ON CONTRACT for a period of Five Years from
the date of joining which is subject to renewal on year to year basis, based on their performance.
During the period of Contract, the appointees can be posted anywhere in the Banks area of operation.
They will be considered for regularization after five years of contract service keeping in view their
performance.
4 ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR THE NOTIFIED POSTS: 1. Please note that the eligibility criteria
specified herein are the basic criteria for applying for the post. Candidates must necessarily produce
the relevant documents pertaining to category, nationality, age, educational qualifications, post
qualification work experience etc. in original alongwith attested photocopy thereof in support of their
identity and eligibility as indicated in the online application form at the time of interview. Please note
that no change of category will be permitted at any stage after registration of the online application.
Merely applying / appearing for and being shortlisted in the examination and/or in the subsequent
interview and/ subsequent processes does not imply that a candidate will necessarily be offered
employment. No request for considering the candidature under any category other than in which

2. Age (as on 1st January, 2015): Candidate must have been born not earlier than 02-01-1970 and not later

percentage marks shall be arrived at by dividing the marks obtained by the candidate in all the
subjects in all semester(s)/year(s) by aggregate maximum marks in all the subjects irrespective of

where Class / Grade is decided on basis of Honours marks only. 5. The fraction of percentage so

6. Procedure for applying online:- 1. Candidates are first required to go to the Banks website
www.jccb.co.in and click on the Recruitment page to open link which will be available from 10th
January, 2015 to 27th January,
2015. 2. Candidates will have to enter their details and upload the photograph and signature in the
online application form. Candidates are required to upload their photograph and signature as per the
specifications given in the Guidelines for Scanning and Upload of Photograph and Signature. 3. The
Candidates can also fill the forms at any LOK-MITRA KENDRA run by the department of IT, Himachal
Pradesh, who have already been requested to help the desirous candidates.
7. Detailed guidelines/procedures for:- A. Application registration B. Payment of fees C. Photograph &
signature scan and upload Candidates can apply online only from 10-01-2015 to 27-01-2015 (both days inclusive)
and no other
mode of application will be accepted.
Important points to be noted before registration: Before applying online, candidates should: i. Scan their
photograph and signature ensuring that both the photograph and signature adhere to the required specifications as
given under Guideline for photograph & signature scan and upload. ii. Have a valid personal email ID and mobile
no., which should be kept active till the completion of this Recruitment Process. Bank may send call letters for the
Examination etc. through the registered e-mail ID. In case a candidate does not have a valid personal e-mail ID,
he/she should create his/her new e-mail ID and mobile no. before applying on-line and must maintain that email
account and mobile number. iii. APPLICATION FEES/INTIMATION CHARGES (NON REFUNDABLE)
PAYMENT OF FEE ONLINE from 10-01-2015 to 27-01-2015 (both days inclusive). Bank Transaction
charges for Online Payment of application fees will have to be borne by the candidate.
A. Application Procedure:- 1. Candidates to go to the Banks website www.jccb.co.in click on the option
"APPLY
ONLINE" of Recruitment page which will open a new screen. 2. To register application, choose the tab " Click here
for New Registration" and enter Name, Contact details and Email-id. A Provisional Registration Number and
Password will be generated by the system and displayed on the screen. Candidate should note down the Provisional
Registration Number and Password. An Email & SMS indicating the Provisional Registration number and Password
will also be sent. 3. In case the candidate is unable to complete the application form in one go, he / she can save the
data already entered by choosing "SAVE AND NEXT" tab. Prior to submission of the online application candidates
are advised to use the "SAVE AND NEXT" facility to verify the details in the online application form and modify the
same if required. 4. Candidates are advised to carefully fill and verify the details filled in the online application
themselves as no change will be possible/ entertained after clicking the FINAL SUBMIT BUTTON. 5. The Name of
the candidate or his /her Father/ Husband etc. should be spelt correctly in the application as it appears in the
Certificates/ Mark sheets. Any change/alteration found may disqualify the candidature. 6. Validate your details and
Save your application by clicking the 'Validate your details' and 'Save & Next' button. Candidates are required to take
a print out of the e-receipt and online application form containing fee details. 7. Candidates can proceed to upload
Photo & Signature as per the specifications given in the Guidelines for Scanning and Upload of Photograph and
Signature detailed under point "C". 8. Candidates can proceed to fill other details of the Application Form. 9. Click on
the Preview Tab to preview and verify the entire application form before FINAL SUBMIT. 10. Modify details, if
required, and click on 'FINAL SUBMIT' ONLY after verifying and ensuring that the photograph, signature uploaded
and other details filled by you are correct. 11. Click on 'Payment' Tab and proceed for payment. 12. Click on 'Submit'
button.

B. PAYMENT OF FEES:- 1. The application form is integrated with the payment gateway and the payment process
can be completed by following the instructions. 2. The payment can be made by using Debit Cards
(RuPay/Visa/MasterCard/Maestro), Credit Cards, Internet Banking, IMPS, Cash Cards/ Mobile Wallets. After
submitting your payment information in the online application form. 3. PLEASE WAIT FOR THE INTIMATION
FROM THE SERVER. DO NOT PRESS BACK OR REFRESH BUTTON IN ORDER TO AVOID DOUBLE CHARGE
4. On successful completion of the transaction, an e-Receipt will be generated. 5. Non-generation of 'E-Receipt'
indicates PAYMENT FAILURE. On failure of payment, Candidates are advised to login again using their Provisional
Registration Number and Password and repeat the process of payment. 6. Candidates are required to take a
printout of the e-Receipt and online Application Form. Please note that if the same cannot be generated,
online transaction may not have been successful. 7. For Credit Card users: All charges are listed in Indian
Rupee. If you use a non-Indian credit card, your bank will convert to your local currency based on prevailing
exchange rates. 8. To ensure the security of your data, please close the browser window once your transaction is
completed. 9. There is facility to print application form containing fee details after payment of fees. C.
Guidelines for Photograph & Signature Scan and Upload In case the face in the photograph or signature
is unclear, the application may be rejected. Candidate may edit the application and re-upload the photograph/
signature in such case.
PHOTOGRAPH IMAGE:- Photograph must be a recent passport size colour picture. The picture should be
in colour, against a light-coloured, preferably white, background. Look straight at the camera with a relaxed face.
If the picture is taken on a sunny day, have the sun behind you, or place yourself in the shade, so that you are not
squinting and there are no harsh shadows. If you have to use flash, ensure there's no "red-eye". If you wear
glasses make sure that there are no reflections and your eyes can be clearly seen. Caps, hats and dark glasses are
not acceptable. Religious headwear is allowed but it must not cover your face. Dimensions 200 x 230 pixels
(preferred). Size of file should be between 20kb-50kb. Ensure that the size of the scanned image is not more
than 50KB. If the size of the file is more than 50KB, then adjust the settings of the scanner such as the DPI
resolution, no.
of colours etc., during the process of scanning.
SIGNATURE IMAGE: The applicant has to sign on white paper with Black Ink pen. The signature must be
signed only by the applicant and not by any other person. The Applicants signature obtained on the call letter and
attendance sheet at the time of the examination should match the uploaded signature. In case of mismatch, the
candidate may be disqualified. Dimensions 140 x 60 pixels (preferred) Size of file should be between 10kb
20kb
Ensure that the size of the scanned image is not more than 20kb
SCANNING THE PHOTOGRAPH & SIGNATURE: Set the scanner resolution to a minimum of 200 dpi (dots
per inch). Set Color to True Color. File Size as specified above. Crop the image in the scanner to the edge of
the photograph/signature, then use the upload editor to crop the image to the final size (as specified above). The
image file should be JPG or JPEG format. An example file name is: image01 .jpg or image01 .jpeg Image dimensions
can be checked by listing the folder files or moving the mouse over the file image icon. Candidates using MS
Windows/MS Office can easily obtain photo and signature in .jpeg format not exceeding 50KB & 20KB respectively
by using MS Paint or MS Office Picture Manager. Scanned photograph and signature in any format can be saved in
.jpg format by using 'Save As' option in the File menu and size can be reduced below 50KB (photograph) & 20KB
(signature) by using crop and then resize option [Please see point (i) & (ii) above for the pixel size] in the 'Image'
menu. Similar options are available in other photo editor also. If the file size and format are not as
prescribed, an error message will be displayed. While filling in the Online Application Form the candidate
will be provided with a link to upload his photograph and signature. Procedure for Uploading the Photograph
and Signature: There will be two separate links for uploading Photograph and Signature. Click on the
respective link "Upload Photograph / Signature". Browse & Select the location where the Scanned Photo/
Signature file has been saved. Select the file by clicking on it. Click the 'Upload' button
Note : There is also a provision to reprint the submitted applications. Bank will not be
responsible for any consequences arising out of furnishing of incorrect and incomplete details in the
form. An online application which is incomplete in any respect such as without photograph and
signature uploaded in the online application form will not be considered as valid. Candidates are
advised in their own interest to apply on-line much before the closing date and not to wait till the last
date for depositing the fee to avoid the possibility of disconnection/ inability/ failure to log on to the
Banks website on account of heavy load on internet/website jam. Bank does not assume any
responsibility for the candidates not being able to submit their applications within the last date on
account of the aforesaid reasons or for any other reason beyond the control of the Bank. Please note
that the above procedure is the only valid procedure for applying. No other mode of application or
incomplete steps would be accepted and such applications would be rejected. Any
information submitted by an applicant in his/ her application shall be binding on the candidate
personally and he/she shall be liable for prosecution/ civil consequences in case the information/
details furnished by him/ her are found to be false at a later stage.
8. CALL LETTERS/Admit Card: Candidates will have to visit the Banks website for downloading call
letters for online test. Intimation for downloading call letter will also be sent through email/SMS. Once
the candidate clicks the relevant link, he/she can access the window for call letter download. The
candidate is required to use (i) Registration

Number/Roll Number, (ii) Password/Date of Birth for downloading the call letter. Candidate needs to
affix recent recognizable photograph on the call letter preferably the same as provided during
registration and appear at the examination centre with (i) Call Letter (ii) Photo Identity Proof as
stipulated in clause (xiii) below and also specified in the call letter and photocopy of the same Photo
Identity Proof as brought in original.
9. SELECTION PROCEDURE: The screening test shall be through ON LINE mode only. The tentative
date for examination shall be 22-23 February 2015. The number of candidates to be called for
interview shall be atleast three times of number of posts. The marks of the Interview will not be more
than 15% of the marks allotted for written test.
Preference shall be given to the candidates possessing knowledge of Custom, tradition, languages
and Culture of the State of Himachal Pradesh and the test shall also include questions on the subject.
The examination may be held in multiple sessions. Responses (answers) of a candidate in online
examination will be analyzed to detect patterns of similarity of right and wrong answers. If, in the
analytical procedure adopted in this regard, it is inferred/concluded that the responses have been
shared and scores obtained are not genuine/valid, the candidature may be cancelled and/or the result
withheld.

11. GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS:- 1. Candidates will have to invariably produce and submit the
requisite documents such as valid call letter, a photocopy of photo-identity proof etc. at the time of
examination and interview respectively.
2. Before applying for the mentioned posts, the candidate should ensure that he/she fulfils the
eligibility and other norms mentioned in this advertisement. Candidates are therefore to carefully read
this advertisement and follow all the instructions given for submitting online application. 3.
Candidates admission to the examination/ shortlisting for interview and/ subsequent process is
strictly provisional. The mere fact that the call letter(s)/ provisional allotment has been issued to the
candidate does not imply that his/ her candidature has been finally cleared by the Bank. Bank would
be free to reject any application, at any stage of the process, cancel the candidature of the candidate
in case it is detected at any stage that a candidate does not fulfill the eligibility norms and/or that
he/she has furnished any incorrect/false information/certificate/documents or has suppressed any
material fact(s). If any of these shortcomings is/are detected after appointment in the Bank, his/her
services are liable to be summarily terminated. 4. Decision of Bank in all matters relating to
examination will be final and binding on the candidate. No correspondence or personal enquiries shall
be entertained by the Bank in this behalf. 5. A candidate can apply for only one post in Executive
Assistant Category. In case of multiple Applications only the latest valid (completed) application will be
retained and the application fee/ intimation charges paid for the other multiple registration(s) will stand
forfeited. 6. Online applications once registered will not be allowed to be withdrawn and/or the application fee/
intimation charges once paid will not be refunded nor be held in reserve for any other examination. 7. Any
resulting dispute arising out of this advertisement including the recruitment process shall be subject to the sole
jurisdiction of the Courts situated at Solan.
8. Canvassing in any form will be a disqualification. 9. No request for change of address, or changes in any other
details mentioned in the online application form will be entertained. 10. A candidate should ensure that the
signatures appended by him/her in all the places viz. in his/her call letter, attendance sheet etc. and in all
correspondences with the Bank in future should be identical and there should be no variation of any kind. 11. A
recent, recognizable photograph should be uploaded by the candidate in the online application form and the
candidate should ensure that copies of the same are retained for use at various stages of the process.
Candidates are also advised not to change their appearance till the process is completed. Failure to produce the
same photograph at various stages of the process/ doubt about identity at any stage could lead to
disqualification. 12. The possibility for occurrences of some problem in the administration of the examination
cannot be ruled out completely which may impact test delivery and/or result from being generated. In that
event, every effort will be made to rectify such problem, which may include the conduct of another examination
if considered necessary. Decision of test conducting body in this regard shall be final. Candidates not willing to
accept such change shall loose his/her candidature for this exam. 13. Candidates will have to appear for the
interview at their own expense. 14. Bank shall not be responsible for any application made/ wrong information
provided by an unauthorized person / institution. Candidates are advised not to share their application details
with anyone. 15. Instances for providing incorrect information and/or process violation by a candidate detected
at any stage of the selection process will lead to disqualification of the candidate from the selection process and
he/she will not be allowed to appear in any Banks recruitment process in the future. If such instances go
undetected during the current selection process but are detected subsequently, such disqualification will take
place with retrospective affect. 16. Appointment of selected candidates is subject to his/her being declared
medically fit. 17. Intimations will be sent by email and/ sms only to the email ID and mobile number
registered in the online application form. Bank shall not be responsible if the information/ intimations do
not reach candidates in case of change in the mobile number, email address, technical fault or otherwise,
beyond the control of the Bank. Candidates are advised to keep a close watch on the authorized website of the
Bank i.e. www.jccb.co.in for latest updates. 12. Identity verification In the examination hall as well as at the time
of interview, the call letter along with original and a photocopy of the candidates currently valid photo identity
such as PAN Card/ Passport/ Driving License/ Voters Card/ Bank Passbook with photograph/ Photo identity proof
issued by a Gazzetted Officer on official letterhead/ Photo identity proof issued by a Peoples Representative on
official letterhead/ valid recent Identity Card issued by a recognized College/ University/ Aadhar card with a
photograph/Employee ID/ Bar Council Identity Card with photograph should be submitted to the invigilator for

verification. The candidates identity will be verified with respect to his/her details on the call letter, in the
Attendance List and requisite documents submitted. If identity of the candidate is in doubt the candidate may
not be allowed to appear for the Examination. E-Aadhar Card and Ration Card are not valid id proofs for this
project. Note: Candidates have to produce in original the photo identity proof and submit photocopy of the photo
identity proof along with Examination call letter as well as the Interview Call Letter while attending the
examination/ interview respectively, without which they will not be allowed to take up the examination/
interview. Candidates must note that the name as appearing on the call letter (provided during the process of
registration) should exactly match the name as appearing on the photo identity proof. Female candidates who
have changed first/last/middle name post marriage must take special note of this. If there is any mismatch
between the name indicated in the Call Letter and Photo Identity Proof the candidate will not be allowed to
appear for the examination.
13. CANDIDATES REPORTING LATE i.e. after the reporting time specified on the call letter for Examination will
not be permitted to take the examination. The reporting time mentioned on the call letter is prior to the Start
time of the test. Though the duration of the examination is 2 hours, candidates may be required to be at the
venue for about 4 hours including the time required for completion of various formalities such as verification and
collection of various requisite documents, logging in, giving of instructions.
14. Use of Mobile Phones, pagers, calculator or any such devices: (a) Mobile phones, pagers or any
other communication devices are not allowed inside the premises where the examination is being conducted.
Any infringement of these instructions shall entail cancellation of candidature and disciplinary action including
ban from future examinations. (b) Candidates are advised in their own interest not to bring any of the banned
items including mobile phones/ pagers to the venue of the examination, as arrangement for safekeeping cannot
be assured. (c) Candidates are not permitted to use or have in possession calculators in examination premises.
15. ACTION AGAINST CANDIDATES FOUND GUILTY OF MISCONDUCT/ USE OF UNFAIR MEANS :
Candidates are advised in their own interest that they should not furnish any particulars that are false, tampered
with or fabricated and should not suppress any material information while submitting online application. At the
time of examination, interview or in a subsequent selection procedure, if a candidate is (or has been ) found
guilty of i. using unfair means or ii. impersonating or procuring impersonation by any person or iii. misbehaving
in the examination/ interview hall or disclosing, publishing, reproducing, transmitting, storing or facilitating
transmission and storage of contents of the test(s) or any information therein in whole or part thereof in any
form or by any means, verbal or written, electronically or mechanically for any purpose or iv. resorting to any
irregular or improper means in connection with his/ her candidature or v. obtaining support for his/ her
candidature by unfair means, or vi. carrying mobile phones or similar electronic devices of communication in the
examination/interview hall, such a candidate may, in addition to rendering himself/ herself liable to criminal
prosecution, be liable : 1. to be disqualified from the examination for which he/ she is a candidate 2. to be
debarred either permanently or for a specified period from any examination conducted by the Bank. 3. for
termination of service, if he/ she has already joined the Bank. 4. Decision of Bank in this regard shall be final.
Important: Bank would be analysing the responses (answers) of individual candidates with other candidates to
detect
patterns of similarity of right and wrong answers. If in the analytical procedure adopted by agency in this regard,
it is inferred/ concluded that the responses have been shared and scores obtained are not genuine/valid, Bank
reserves right to cancel the candidature of the concerned candidates and the result of such candidates
