Prezenta norma este valabila pentru


conceptia si executia de turbocompresoare
in cadrul Petrom OMV.

GENERAL

This standard applies to the design and


implementation of turbocompressors at
Petrom OMV.

1.2 Standards and instructions

Norme si prescriptii
Impreuna cu prezenta norma se vor respecta
dispozitiile, normele si directivele valabile in
Romania, in varianta lor aflata in vigoare, care
sunt mentionate in Anexa.

In conjunction with this Standard, the


respective specifications, standards and
directives legally applicable in Romania and
stated in Annex should be taken into
account in their currently valid form.
This listing is not claimed to be complete.

In the event of deviations or conflicts arising


between the various specifications,
standards and directives and there is no firm
definition by this standard, then the strictest
formulation is to be applied in each case.
Where they are mutually exclusive, then the
Romanian statutory regulations will apply.

API 617
(Numerele de capitole trecute in paranteze
sunt identice cu API 617)
Prezenta norma contine capitole din API 617,
editia 6, 1995, care sunt necesare pentru
conceptia si realizarea turbocompresoarelor.
Capitolele din API 617 sunt valabile fara
restrictii, in masura in care pentru enunturile
separate nu sunt stabilite modificari si/sau
completari in punctul 2.0 al prezentei norme.

2.1

(1.5) Norme conexe

DEFINITIONS, DEVIATIONS AND


ADDITIONS TO API 617
(The section numbers given in parentheses
are identical to those of API 617)
This standard contains sections of API 617,
6th edition 1995 that are required for the
design and implementation of
turbocompressors.
The sections of API 617 apply without
limitation, insofar as no changes and/or
additions are defined for individual
statements in item 2.0 of this standard.

Relatiile de specialitate din normele americane,
care se refera la API 617, sunt valabile ca
sens la aplicarea normelor mentionate in
specificatia tehnica.
Daca in specificatia tehnica nu sunt metionate
norme, sunt admise, cu acordul scris al
responsabilului de proiect Petrom OMV,
normele enumerate in API 617.

2.2 (2.1.1) Generalitati


Executantul ofera numai astfel de
turbocompresoare care si-au dovedit
calitatile, intr-o varianta de executie
identica sau asemanatoare.
Conceptia si constructia trebuie sa
corespunda celei mai noi versiuni si
normelor mentionate in specificatia
tehnica.
Turbocompresorul trebuie sa poata fi expus
unei exploatari fara intrerupere timp de
minim 5 ani.
Producatorul poarta raspunderea totala
pentru toate echipamentele livrate,
conform specificatiei comenzii. Pachetul
complet se compune din compresor,
sistem de antrenare si sisteme auxiliare
(sistem ungere, sistem separare, etc).
Raspunderea totala cuprinde urmatoarele
responsabilitati care nu se refera numai la
inginerie:
analiza torsiunii;

analiza lateral;
studiu de simulare (daca acest
lucru este stabilit);
conceptia si alegerea masinii de
antrenare (turatie/putere/moment

The American standards and regulations


listed in this section of API 617 can be
replaced by the standards listed in the
technical specifications.
These involve the following areas, among
others:
materials with material certification
welding
threading, screw design
flange design
X-ray inspection
ultrasound inspection
magnetic powder inspection
dye penetration test
balancing
gGears
electrical equipment
noise protection
Statements in American standards that refer
to API 617 apply accordingly for application
of the standards listed in the technical
specifications.
If no standards are listed in the technical
specifications, the standards listed in API 617
are permissible with written approval by the
Petrom OMV project manager.

2.2 (2.1.1) General


The contractor shall only offer
turbocompressors that have already been
used in a similar design for identical or
similar conditions and have proven
themselves.
The conception and design should
correspond to the state of the art and the
fulfill the standards listed in the technical
specifications.
It must be possible to design the
turbocompressor for at least 5 years of
uninterrupted operation.
The manufacturer has complete
responsibility for the all system components
delivered according to the ordering
specification. The entire package consists of
compressor, drive and ancillary systems (oil
system, sealing system, ).
The complete responsibility includes the
following responsibilities involving more than
just engineering:
torsion analysis

lateral analysis
simulation study (if agreed)
design and selection of the drive
machine (rotation speed / output /
torque...)

de rotatie etc ;
constructia cuplajului, respectiv a
reductorului;
prevenirea depasirii limitei de livrare
(regulator- ventil de reglare- si
sistem de comanda)
etansari si sistem de protectie;
sistem ulei de ungere;
logica, sistem de blocare si
deconectare (coordonare cu AMC);
sistem de urmarire vibratii si
temperatura lagare;
layout pentru toate componentele;
dimensionare si verificare la vibratii
a tuturor fundatiilor;
dimensionarea tuturor cadrelor de
baza parte din livrare;
dispozitia si urmarirea turnarii
fundatiilor;
layout conducte si coordonare cu
contractantii (daca acest lucru este
stabilit);
coordonare totala si respectarea
tuturor normelor, standardelor, etc.;
coordonare santier;
obligativitate de informare si
documentatie catre responsabilul
de proiect Petrom OMV .

2.3 (2.1.3) Conceptie


Calculul racitoarelor de proces necesare si care
trebuie livrate de executant (racitor
intermediar, final si de bypass), separator si
atenuator de zgomot se va face cu presiunea
maxima a treptelor.
Se vor lua in considerare urmatoarele ipoteze
de lucru:
- presiunea la limita de livrare pana la de 1,1
ori presiunea maxima de aspiratie;
- turatia pentru inchiderea rapida la sistemul
de antrenare al turbinei;
Dispozitia minima a suprapresiunii de lucru
este de 1,5 bar.
Cand se face echiparea cu ventile de
siguranta, racitoarele, separatoarele si
atenuatoarele de zgomot se vor dimensiona
pentru de 1,1 ori presiunea de esapare a
ventilului de siguranta

2.3 (2.1.3) Design


Calculation of the required process coolers
(intermediate, end and bypass coolers),
separators and sound absorbers that must
be delivered by the contractor must be
performed with the maximum stage final
pressure.
The following assumptions must be taken
into account:
- pressure at the surge limit to 1.1 times the
max. suction pressure
- fast acting speed on the turbine drive.
The operating overpressure must be
designed as at least 1.5 bar.
In equipping with safety valves, the coolers,
separators and sound absorbers must be
designed for 1.1 times the safety valve blowoff pressure.

(2.1.4) Caracteristica
Datele de conceptie mentionate in specificatia
tehnica se refera la limitele date de
responsabilul de proiect Petrom OMV. Aceste
limite se pot abate de la limitele de livrare.
Pierderile de presiune intre stuturile masinii si
aceste limite, de exemplu atenuatoare de
zgomot, racitoare intermediare, separatoare si
conducte intermediare vor fi indicate de
executant separat in oferta. Aceste valori vor fi
luate in considerare cu ocazia eventualelor
verificari in uzina producatoare.

Caracteristicile se vor calcula si desena


incluzand aceste pierderi.
Pomparea in sine trebuie sa fie posibila
pentru un timp reprezentativ, fara sa se
produca pagube de natura mecanica asupra
compresorului sau sistemelor aferente. timp
reprezentativ inseamna ca personalul de
deservire a instalatiei trebuie sa aiba
posibilitatea sa ia contramasuri eficiente.
Aceasta cerinta nu este valabila pentru
compresoarele axiale, pentru acestea se va
oferta si livra o siguranta completa pentru
limita de pompare.
La compresoarele cu flux radial siguranta
completa pentru limita de livrare va fi
proiectata si livrata de furnizor, in cazul in care
aceasta este necesara.
Se va respecta punctul 2.41 sistem protectie
pompa.

2.5

(2.1.5) Sistem de racire

Datele pentru elaborarea sistemului de


racire sunt indicate in specificatiile tehnice

2.6 (2.1.9) Asezare in pozitie de lucru


Turbocompresorul va fi conceput astfel incat sa
se preteze exploatarii continue in exterior.
Protectia necesara impotriva frigului va fi
specificata si dupa caz livrata de executant, in
functie de locul de montaj si de conditiile de
mediu.
In specificatia tehnica sunt date criteriile de
elaborare si conditiile de mediu.

2.7 (2.1.10) Protectie antifonica


Nivelul admisibil de zgomot precum si dovada
solicitata de responsabilul de proiect Petrom
OMV este dat in specificatia tehnica. Se vor
lua in considerare expertizele / reglementarile
pentru locatia Petrom OMV in cauza

2.4

(2.1.4) Characteristic curve


The design data given in the technical
specifications refers to the limits defined by
the Petrom OMV project manager. These
limits may deviate from the delivery limits.
The pressure losses between machine
connections and these limits, e.g. sound
absorbers, intermediate coolers, separators
and intermediate pipes should be indicated
separately by the contractor in the offer.
These values must be taken into
consideration in any tests at the
manufacturing plant.
The characteristic curves must be calculated
and graphed, including these losses.
The pumping itself must be possible for a
reasonable time without damage resulting
on the compressor or on the associated
system. A reasonable time means that the
operating personnel of the system must be
capable of initiating effective
countermeasures. This requirement does not
apply to axial compressors; for these, a
complete surge limit safeguarding system
must also be offered and delivered.
For radial compressors, the complete surge
limit safeguarding, if required, must be
designed and delivered by the contractor.

2.5 (2.1.5) Cooling system


The data for the design of the cooling
system is given in the technical
specifications.

2.6 (2.1.9) Setup


The turbocompressor must be designed such
that it is suitable for continuous operation
outdoors.
The required cold protection must be
specified by the turbocompressor contractor
according to the setup location and the
ambient conditions and delivered with the
compressor, if necessary.
Design criteria and ambient conditions are
given in the technical specifications.

2.7 (2.1.10) Noise protection


The permissible sound level as well as the
verification required by the Petrom OMV
project manager are given in the technical
specifications. The pertinent expert analyses
/ stipulations for the respective Petrom OMV

site must be taken into account.

2.8 (2.1.15) Motor electric, accesorii

2.9

(2.1.17) Proba de functionare cu aer

The data for the implementation of the


electric motors and electrical accessories
(motors, instruments) with regard to the
explosion protection class, etc. is given in the
technical specifications.

2.9 (2.1.17) System test run with


air

In specificatia tehnica vor fi mentionate toate


modurile de functionare, si functionarea pentru
regimul de uscare. Executantul va pregati
documentatii detaliate pentru acestea.

2.10 (2.2) Carcasa

All operating methods, including drying


operation, etc. are indicated in the technical
specifications. The contractor must prepare
the detailed documents for these operating
methods.

2.10 (2.2) Housing

Presiunea de exploatare maxima admisibila a


compresorului va lua in considerare, conform
curbei caracteristice, situatia de exploatare cu
presiunea maxima de aspirare si finala la
limita de livrare.
La carcasele cu culisare radiala se va prefera
sistemul de fixare Scherring.
Daca se
folosesc imbinari cu suruburi ale capacelor,
suruburile se vor monta hidraulic cu
pretensionarea definita. Furnizorul va pune la
dispozitie scule speciale.
Pentru demontarea unitatii carcasei in trepte la
compresoarele cilindrice, se va livra un
dispozitiv de extractie.

2.11 (2.3.5)Placi intermediare / aparate de


ghidare la intrare

The maximum permissible operating


pressure of the compressor must take into
account the operating case of maximum
suction pressure and final pressure at the
surge limit according to the characteristic
diagram.
For housings with radial division, the shear
ring fastening system is preferred. For the
use of screwed lid connections, the screws
must be hydraulically installed with defined
pretensioning. Special tools must be
provided by the supplier.
An extraction mechanism must be
supplied for the removal of the stage housing
unit in barrel-type compressors.

2.11(2.3.5) Intermediate floors /


intake distributors

Nu este permis ca placile intermediare sa fie


racite.
Aparatele de ghidare vor fi realizate fara muchii
/ praguri.
Daca sunt necesare suruburi/piulite de fixare
in segmentul de curgere, acestea vor fi astfel
realizate incat desfacerea lor sa nu poata
genera nici o deteriorare in compresor

2.12 (2.4.1.2 si 2.4.1.5)

Flanse, racorduri

Intermediate floors may not be cooled.


Distributors must be designed without edges
/ joints.
If internal fastening screws / nuts are needed
in the flow part, these must be designed so
that loosening of the screws cannot result in
any damage to the compressor.

2.12 (2.4.1.2 and 2.4.1.5)

Toate flansele de legatura precum si toate


flansele interne trebuie sa corespunda datelor
de conceptie si vor fi realizate conform datelor
din specificatiile tehnice.
Atunci cand conductele din alte aliaje se leaga
de partile din otel sau fonta ale compresorului,
se vor lua masurile care se impun impotriva
corosiunii de tensiune galvanica.

All connection flanges as well as all internal


flanges must correspond to the design data
and must be implemented according to the
information in the technical specifications.
If lines of other alloys are connected to steel
or grey cast iron parts of the compressor,
suitable measures must be taken to prevent
bimetallic corrosion.

Nu este permisa folosirea conductelor din aliaje


de cupru.
Se vor respecta prescriptiile EN si nationale
pentru compensarea potentialului.

Lines of copper alloys are not permitted.

Daca grosimea de flansa existenta depaseste


dimensiunea cea mai mare, de exemplu dupa
DIN/ANSI, trebuie stabilit in urma discutiei cu
responsabilul de proiect Petrom OMV, daca
grosimea flansei se poate pastra in raport cu
lungimile de suruburi care urmeaza sa fie
folosite.
Scaderea grosimii flansei existente sub
dimensiunea minima, de exemplu dupa
DIN/ANSI, nu este admisa.

2.13

(2.4.2.4) Flanse
Flansele din fonta nu sunt admise.

2.14 (2.4.3.1 ) Racorduri accesorii


Armaturile necesare, suportii conductelor,
stuturile pentru instrumente si imbinarile cu
flanse (si pentru probele de presiune ale
beneficiarului) fac parte din cuprinsul livrarii
furnizorului, precum si accesoriile necesare
pentru efectuarea probei de functionare
inclusiv stuturile. Aceste dispozitive vor fi
astfel realizate incat aparatele de masura sa
poata fi montate in timpul functionarii masinii

2.15 (2.4.3.2) Aerisiri, goliri


Toate carcasele vor fi prevazute cu stuturi de
golire, in masura in care acest lucru este
conditionat din punct de vedere al constructiei,
separat pentru fiecare treapta.

2.16

(2.4.3.4 ) Conducte mici

Nu sunt admise imbinari filetate cu inele de taiere


pentru conductele de produs si combustibil.
Se vor prefera imbinarile sudate (< 20 mm
diametru). Toate conductele celelalte se vor
realiza cu flanse.

2.17 (2.4.3.5.1 si 2.4.3.5.3) Racorduri


filetate
Racordurile filetate vor fi limitate la minim.
Niplurile racord se vor realiza de preferinta in
NPT. La filetele cilindrice se va folosi o garnitura

regulations on equipotential bonding must be
followed.
If the existing flange thickness exceeds the
maximum dimension, e.g. according to
DIN/ANSI, it must be clarified in consultation
with the Petrom OMV project manager
whether the flange thickness can be retained
with regard to the screw lengths to be used.
Flange thicknesses of less than the minimum
dimension, e.g. according to DIN/ANSI, are
not permitted.

2.13

(2.4.2.4) Flanges

Flanges of cast iron are not permitted.

2.14 (2.4.3.1 ) Accessory connections


Required fittings, pipe supports, supports for
instruments and flange connections
(including for customer pressure tests) are
part of the delivery scope of the contractor,
including the accessories required for the test
run of the system, including pipe
connections. These parts must be designed
so that the measurement equipment can be
installed while the machine is running.

2.15 ( 2.4.3.2) Vents, drains


All housings must be equipped with drains, if
required by the design, for each stage
individually.

2.16 (2.4.3.4 ) Small lines


Cutting ring screw connections are not permitted
for product and operating media lines.
Metallically sealing welded-on connections are
preferred (< 20 mm diameter). All other lines
must be designed flanged.

2.17 (2.4.3.5.1 and 2.4.3.5.3)

Screwed

connections
Screwed connections must be kept to a
minimum. Connection nipples should preferably
be designed in NPT. For cylindrical threads, a

care nu contine metal neferos. Nu este permisa


folosirea unui cordon de sudura pentru etansare
in jurul unui racord filetat.

2.18 (2.4.3.7 ) Capace


Dopurile, daca sunt aprobate de responsabilul de
proiect Petrom OMV, vor fi livrate cu cap
hexagonal.

2.19

(2.6.1 ) Arbori
Producatorul de compresoare trebuie sa calculeze
impreuna cu producatorul sistemului de antrenare
momentele maxime care pot apare in sistemul de
arbori in conditii de pornire, functionare, oprire si
in conditii limita. Toate componentele, inclusiv
cuplajul si scaunul cuplajului, trebuie sa fie apte
sa preia cel putin 175% din momentul maxim
care poate interveni. Abaterile trebuie mentionate
in fisa de date.
La sistemele de antrenare cu motor electric, se va
avea in vedere scurtcircuitul de 2 sau 3 faze si
reconectarea dupa intreruperea alimentarii de la
retea.
Este admisa aplicarea de straturi acoperitoare in
zona labirintilor, daca varianta de realizare,
materialul si cuprinsul verificarilor sunt aprobate
in scris de responsabilul de proiect Petrom OMV.

2.20 (2.6.3) Bucse protectie arbori


Bucsele pentru protectia arborilor in zona
etansarilor arborilor la trecerea prin carcasa
trebuie sa permita demontarea fara incalzire.

2.21

(2.6.7) Rotoare

seal free of nonferrous metals must be used. A


seal weld seam around a threaded connection is
not permitted.

2.18 (2.4.3.7 ) Blind plugs


Dopurile, daca sunt aprobate de responsabilul de
proiect Petrom OMV, vor fi livrate cu cap
hexagonal.

2.19 (2.6.1 ) Shafts


The compressor manufacturer must work with
the drive manufacturer to calculate the
maximum arising torques in the shaft system
under starting, operating, stopping and limit
conditions. All components, including coupling
and coupling seat, must be capable of accepting
175% of the maximum arising torque. Deviations
must be listed in the data sheet.
For electric motor drives, the 2- or 3-phase
short-circuit and the reactivation after network
interruption must be taken into consideration.
Coatings in the area of labyrinth seals are
permitted if the implementation, the material and
the testing scope are approved in writing by the
Petrom OMV project manager.

2.20 (2.6.3) Shaft protection sleeves


Shaft protection sleeves in the area of shaft
seals on the opening through the housing must
be removable without heating up.

2.21 (2.6.7) Impellers

Rotoarele turnate sunt admise numai cu anumite


conditii, daca executantul a primit inainte de
comunicarea comenzii o aprobare scrisa de la
responsabilul de proiect Petrom OMV.

Cast impellers are only permitted under certain


conditions, if the contractor has obtained written
approval from the Petrom OMV project manager
before awarding of the order.

Rotoarele cu discuri de acoperire lipite in vacuum


sunt admise, in conditiile in care executantul
inainteaza responsabilului de proiect Petrom
OMV varianta testata si documentatia de
verificare spre aprobare.

Impellers with vacuum-soldered cover plates are


permitted if the tested design and testing
documentation are submitted to the Petrom
OMV project manager for approval.

In comentariu se va acorda atentie diametrului


rotorului, diametrelor arborilor (D1 / D2) si
indicelui Mach si vor fi mentionate in fisa de date.
Vor fi mentionate tensiunile maxime in conditii de
exploatare la diametrul exterior al rotorului.

The impeller diameter, shaft diameter (Di /D2)


and Mach number must be observed and
indicated in the data sheet. Maximum stresses
during operation at the outer diameter of the
impeller must be indicated.

Masurarile temperaturii lagarelor se va face cu


termocuplu (NiCrNi) direct in carcasa lagarului
(realizare in baza Normei Petrom OMV K 1001).

Every gas seal (including replacement seal)


must be subjected to a test run at the
manufacturer for verification of the leakage
quantities. The sealing gas demands and the
leakage quantities for the start of run and the
end of run must be given in the data sheet. The
sealing gas panel is part of the contractors
delivery scope.

The standstill / compensation pressure given in


the data sheet must be sealed. The necessary
equipment must be indicated in the data sheet.
The minimum requirements for the gas seal can
be found in the Guide for Applications of Dry
Gas Seals in Turbomachines of the Mechanical
Engineering Committee MEC 03, 1993.

Cerinte minime
- Inele de etansare flotoare sau de alunecare.
- Etansarile arborilor si sistemul de protectie vor
fi mentionate de furnizor in oferta si in caz de
comanda, ele vor fi garantate. Valoarea pentru
care se garanteaza, raportata la 24 ore de
exploatare se va inscrie in specificatia
tehnica. Suplimentar pierderii de lichid de
protectie care urmeaza a se garanta, in
specificatia tehnica se va mentiona abaterea
admisibila, fara ca disponibilitatea si siguranta
in exploatare a masinii sa fie diminuata.
Lichidul de protectie care s-a murdarit cu
mediul de curgere nu va fi pus inapoi in
rezervorul de ulei, inainte de a se inlatura
componentele daunatoare din el.
- Inelele de etansare de alunecare vor fi
prevazute cu un dispozitiv pentru starea oprit
din functionare, in scopul impiedicarii
producerii de scurgeri de gaz de proces in
timpul opririi compresorului cand sistemul de
protectie este scos din functiune sau cand
acesta are o cadere.
Conductele de scurgere externe ale sistemului
de protectie vor fi echipate cu geamuri de
observare.
- In cazul gazelor care contin H2S, se va evita
orice contact cu circuitele de ulei de gresare si
de protectie. Uleiul containat cu H2S se va
evacua separat.

Sisteme de etansare:
Etansarile simple, tandem sau back-to-back se
vor stabili in specificatia tehnica si vor fi adaptate
parametrilor de proces.

2.26 (2.8.7) Gaz de separare pentru etansare

Minimum requirements:
- Floating ring seal or glide ring seal
- The shaft seal and the sealing system must be
indicated by the contractor in the offer and
guaranteed in the event the order is received.
The value to the guaranteed, with respect to 24
operating hours, must be entered into the
technical specifications. In addition to the
sealing liquid loss to be guaranteed, the
permissible deviation without reducing the
availability and operational reliability of the
machine system must be indicated in the
technical specifications. Sealing liquid
contaminated with flow substance may not be
returned to the oil container without removing
harmful components.
- Glide ring seals must be equipped with a
standstill device for preventing process gas
leaks during the standstill of the compressor
while the sealing system is switched off or
otherwise inoperative.

The external drain lines of the sealing system


must be equipped with inspection windows.
- For gases containing H2S, all contact with
lubrication and sealing oil circuits must be
avoided. Sour oil must be run separately.

Sealing systems:
Single, tandem or back-to-back seals must be
agreed in the technical specifications and
adapted to the process parameters.

2.26 (2.8.7) Sealing gas for the shaft seal at

permita aportul de gaz de protectie. Furnizorul
trebuie sa mentioneze in oferta conditiile de
exploatare in care este necesar gazul de
protectie (de exemplu:la pornire) , calitatea

gazului de protectie, in toate modurile si
conditiile de lucru ale compresorului, chiar in
conditii de subpresiune pe partea de aspiratie.

presiunii diferentiale (gaz de protectie lichid de
protectie), inclusiv racordurile necesare masurarii

The shaft seal must be designed for supply of


sealing gas. The contractor must indicate in the
offer the operating conditions under which
sealing gas is required (e.g. startup), the sealing
gas quality, quantity and pressures.
A sealing gas overpressure must be present at
the seal during all operating modes and

(2.11.2.2) Suduri
Toate sudurile vor realiza conform normelor
mentionate in specificatia tehnica.
Pentru categoria de calificare a sudorilor si pentru
calitatea sudurilor sunt de asemenea valabile
normele enumerate in specificatia tehnica.
Toate sudurile de radacina de la conducte in
cadrul sistemului de ulei se vor suda sub
protectie de gaz. Acest lucru este valabil si pentru
conductele care urmeaza sa fie realizate pe
santier. Toate conductele se supun acelorasi
conditii de verificare si receptie ca si restul
conductelor instalatiei de proces, indiferent de

All weldings must be performed according to the
standards listed in the technical specifications.
The standards listed in the technical
specifications also apply to the qualifications of
the welders and the quality of the welding work.
All root seams on pipes within the oil system
must be welded under inert gas. This also
applies for lines attached at the construction
site. All lines are subject to the same testing and
acceptance inspection conditions as the other
lines of the process-related systems, regardless
of whether they were made at the manufacturing
plant or the construction site.
If gas lines between compressor stages cannot
be cleaned mechanically (weld seams), their
root seams must also be welded under inert
gas.

2.32 (2.11.3) Low temperature, impact


resistance value

In oferta sa, furnizorul trebuie sa mentioneze indicii


chiar si pentru materialele si pentru grosimile
materialelor care nu sunt cuprinse in codul
ASME. Daca se solicita prin specificatia tehnica,
aceste valori trebuie dovedite prin incercari
mecanice.

2.33 (2.11.5.1) Suduri rotor


Toate sudurile care se efectueaza la rotor se vor
verifica folosind una din metodele care urmeaza:
verificare cu pulbere magnetica;
verificare cu lichid penetrant;
verificare cu ultrasunete.
Impreuna cu rotorul se va executa o proba de
sudura, cu scopul de a stabili calitatea
materialului si a sudurii dupa tratamentul termic.

The contractor must indicate the values in his


offer, including for the materials and material
thicknesses that are not included in the ASME

2.33 2.11.5.1) Impeller welds


All impeller welds shall be tested with one of the

If gear couplings are used, oil-lubricated curved


teeth couplings with individual tooth lubrication
must be used to prevent oil sludge deposits.

Cuplajele cu piese intermediare trebuie realizate


cu o lungime suficienta pentru a permite
demontarea:
- semicuplajelor
- lagarului
- setului de etansare (parti sau cartus).
Cuplajele si piesele intermediare se vor echilibra
dinamic la turatia maxima dispusa pentru rotor,
independent de segmentele urmatoare de
conducta.
Jocul pe capat maxim limitat (daca este
necesar la motoarele de antrenare cu lagare de
alunecare) va fi limitat la 6 mm. Jocul final total
limitat al rotorului motorului trebuie sa fie mai
mare decat jocul final al cuplajului. Se va avea in
vedere materialul magnetic al motorului, despre
care se vor solicita informatii de la furnizorul
motorului.
Protectia cuplajului trebuie sa poata fi demontat
usor si sa fie confectionat din otel. Pentru
evacuarea caldurii care se produce, se va face o
amenajare corespunzatoare, respectiv este
necesara o protectie impotriva atingerii conform
dispozitiilor de protectie ale masinii. Nu este
permisa folosirea aluminiului

2.3.5 (3.3.1.2.7) Suruburi de ancorare


In specificatia tehnica se va mentiona cine livreaza
suruburile de ancorare.
In cazul fundatiilor placa, fixarea ramei de baza se
va face, in principiu, cu suruburi de ancorare de
trecere, care nu vor fi fixate prin turnare in
fundatie. In cazul fundatiilor bloc, se vor folosi
suruburi cap de ciocan. Variantele
corespunzatoare sunt mentionate in specificatia
tehnica.

2.34 (3.2.2) Couplings, coupling protection

(3.3.1.2) Talpi
Utilizarea talpilor este permisa numai in cazul
masinilor cu mai multe carcase. In faza de
conceptie, axa masinii se va alege astfel incat
accesul pentru lucrarile de intretinere la toate
flansele masinii si conductelor sa fie posibil fara
echipamente suplimentare.
In orice caz, vor fi prevazute amenajari care sa
impiedice contaminarea cu ulei a fundatiei
(aplicarea de vopsea, cada pentru captarea

Couplings and intermediate pieces must be
dynamically counterbalanced independently of
other rotor parts at the maximum design speed
of the rotor.
The max. limited end play (insofar as this is
required for drive motors with slide bearing)
should be limited to 6 mm. The total limited end
play of the motor armature must be greater than
the end play of the coupling. The magnetic
center of the motor must be learned from the
motor supplier and taken into consideration.
The coupling sheeting must be made of steel
and easy to remove. Appropriate measures
must be taken for dissipation of the resulting
heat, and contact protection is required
according to machine protection regulations.
The use of aluminum is not permitted.

2.35 (3.3.1.2.7) Anchor bolts


It must be indicated in the technical
specifications who is supplying the anchor bolts.
For foundation slabs, the fastening of the base
frame must take place with anchor screws that
run through the foundation and are not cast in.
For block foundations, hammer-head bolts must
be used. The corresponding designs are
indicated in the technical specifications.

2.36 (3.3.1.2) Bearing plates


The use of bearing plates is only permitted for
machine sets with multiple housings. The design
of the machine axis must be selected such that
maintenance work on all machine / pipe flanges
is possible without additional scaffolding.
In all cases, measures must be taken to prevent
any oil contamination of the foundation (coating,
oil collection tray,...).

momentelor rezultate din flansele de racord ale
masinii, conform API.
Pentru asezarea la nivel este permisa, fara
exceptie, numai folosirea de adaosuri din otel
inoxidabil. Distantele mai mari vor fi compensate
cu placi slefuite.

2.38 (3.4.3.1) Tabloul local de comanda


Tabloul local de comanda va fi livrat de catre
furnizor, conform cerintelor din specificatia
tehnica si Normei Petrom OMV K 1001.
Aparatele din tabloul local de comanda nu vor fi
legate direct la fluidul de proces sau la materialul
combustibil.
Masurarile de temperatura, care sunt afisate in
tabloul de comanda, trebuie sa se faca prin
intermediul unor senzori electrici de temperatura
si aparate indicatoare corespunzatoare.
Sistemul local de dirijare va cuprinde urmatoarele
unitati:
lampa de semnalizare pe masina;
afisaj pentru vibratiile axului;
afisaj pentru deplasarea axiala a rotorului;
dispozitive electrice de comutare si control
pentru toate sistemele auxiliare;
- toate presiunile si temperaturile masinii

2.37 (3.3.2.1) Base frame


The compressor and drive must be placed on a
shared base frame. If this is not possible for
large units, separate base frames must be
provided for compressor and drive.

The machine axis and the dimensions of the


frame must be selected such that maintenance
work on all machine / pipe flanges is possible
without additional scaffolding.
Grating floors must be provided in the
accessible area and the maintenance area of
the base frame(s).
The base frame must be dimensioned such that
at least twice the equipped eight and at least
twice the forces and moments resulting from the
machine connection flanges and permissible
according to API can be accepted.
Only stainless steel underlays may be used for
alignment. Larger distances must be
compensated for with ground plates.

2.38 (3.4.3.1) Local control station


The local control stand must be supplied by the
contractor according to the requirements listed
in the technical specifications and the Petrom
OMV standard K 1001.
The devices in the local control station may not
be connected directly to the process fluid or the
operating media.
Temperature measurements that are displayed
at the control station must take place via
electrical temperature sensors and
corresponding display devices.
The local control station should contain the
following units:
one signal light per alarm on the machine set
display of the shaft vibrations
display of the axial displacements of the
impellers
electrical switching and control equipment for all
auxiliary systems
- All pressures and temperatures of the
machine set

(3.4.4) Echiparea cu instrumente

Cuprinsul livrarii, producatorul, tipul, varianta


constructiva si instalarea instrumentelor care
urmeaza sa fie livrate de furnizor sunt listate in
specificatia tehnica. In general, proiectarea si
executia se vor face conform Normei Petrom
OMV K 1001.
Toate instrumentele trebuie marcate
corespunzator diagramei flux P&I, respectiv
specificatiei de instrumente. Pentru cuprinsul
livrarii este, de asemenea, obligatorie diagrama
flux P&I.
Coordonarea echiparii cu instrumente a sistemului
de antrenare revine furnizorului.

2.40 (3.4.2.2) Sistem de protectie la functionare

2.39 (3.4.4) Instrumentation


The delivery scope, manufacturer, type, design
and installation of the instruments to be supplied
by the contractor must be listed and indicated in
the technical specifications. In general, planning
and construction must take place according to
Petrom OMV standard K 1001.
All instruments must be labeled according to the
R&I flowchart and the instrument specifications.
The R&I flowchart is also binding with regard to
the delivery scope.

The contractor is responsible for coordinating


the instrumentation of the drive.

centrifugal compressor from running in the pump
range. There are multiple methods for ensuring
a stable operating range:

- adjusting the input guide blades, if installed.
The variant to be selected depends on the
economic and technical conditions.
2.40.3 Pump shut-off and alarm system
(PSOAS)

Sistemul de intrerupere in caz de pompare trebuie


sa fie complet separat de sistemul de reglare al
limitei de livrare a compresorului si trebuie sa
genereze o alarma si o deconectare.
Daca intervine regimul de pompare, se va
deschide ventilul de bypass al conductei pentru
prevenirea livrarii si se intrerupe compresorul din
functionare.
Conducta pentru prevenirea regimului de livrare
este o legatura directa intre racordul de la partea
de aspirare si cel de la partea de presiune a
compresorului.
Conducta de recirculare este integrata in sistemul
de conducte al statiei si duce, pe partea de
presiune, dupa racitoare si separatoare, printr-un
ventil de reglare, direct la partea de aspirare.
Pentru acest ventil de reglare exista posibilitatea
de comanda de la sistemul de comanda al
statiei, de la PAAS si de la sistemul de reglare al
limitei de livrare. Acest sistem de recirculare este
prevazut pentru a mentine punctul de exploatare
al compresorului pe partea sigura a liniei de
reglare a limitei de livare, in situatia in care se
trece in regimul de pericol, cand conditiile de
functionare devin instabile.
Conceptia AMC a PAAS va fi pusa de acord cu

Ventilul pentru reglarea limitei de livare are
urmatoarele functiuni:
deschidere rapida (t < 2 sec.): cand conditiile
de functionare ameninta sa se schimbe repede
din domeniul de functionare in conditii de
siguranta in regim de pompare;
functiune normala de reglare: in conditii de
modificare lenta a punctului de regim de
lucru in regim de pompare.
2.40.4 Curbe limita de pompare
Linia limita de pompare este o linie de legatura a
tuturor acelor puncte ale liniilor de turatie
constanta pe suprafata caracteristicii, la care
apare regimul de pompare.
Linie de reglare limita de pompare:
Linia de reglare a limitei de presiune este o curba,
la care intervine reglarea limitei de pompare,
pentru asigurarea conditiilor stabile de
functionare a compresorului. Linia de reglare
trebuie sa respecte o distanta de siguranta fata
de linia limita de pompare, in functie de calitatea
si de felul dispozitivelor AMC. Din ratiuni
economice, se recomanda ca distanta intre cele
doua curbe sa fie cat se poate de mica.

2.40.5 Reglarea limitei de pompare

The pump shut-off system must be completely


separated from the surge limit regulation of the
compressor and must generate an alarm and a
shut-off.
If pumping occurs, the bypass valve of the
pump safeguarding system must be opened and
the compressor switched off.
The pump safeguarding line is a direct
connection between the suction-side and
pressure-side connection of the compressor.
The recirculation line is integrated into the
station line system and on the pressure side
leads directly to the suction side via a control
valve, after the coolers and separators.
This control valve can be controlled by the
station control, by the PSOAS and by the surge
limit regulation system.
This recirculation system is provided in order
keep the operating point of the compressor on
the safe side of the surge limit regulation line
when there is a risk of the operating conditions
becoming unstable.
The design of the measurement features of the
PSOAS must be coordinated with the Petrom
OMV project manager.
The surge limit regulation valve has the
following functions:
- fast opening (t < 2 sec.): if the operating
conditions threaten to shift quickly from the safe
range to the pump range;
normal regulation function: for slow changes of
the operating pump into the pump range.
2.40.4 Surge limit lines
The surge limit line is a line connecting all those
points of the constant speed lines in the
characteristic diagram at which pumping
occurs.
Surge limit regulation line:
The surge limit regulation line is a curve at
which the surge limit regulation becomes active
to ensure stable compressor operating
conditions. The regulation line must maintain a
safety margin from the surge limit line,
depending on the quality and type of the
measurement and control equipment. For
economic reasons, the distance between these
two curves should be as small as possible.

Regulatorul pentru limita de pompare trebuie sa


indeplineasca specificatia producatorului masinii
si trebuie sa fie integrat in sistemul de comanda
al masinii. Daca aceasta functiune de reglare
este realizata corespunzator software-ului,
acesteia i se va acorda prioritate maxima. Acest
algoritm trebuie sa fie prelucrat (extras) cel putin
o data la fiecare 100 msec.
Trebuie prevazut ca:
regulatorul sa poata fi comutat din modul de
functionare automata in modul de functionare
manuala;
trebuie sa fie indicata pozitia ventilului de
reglare pentru recirculare (0-100%);
este necesar, chiar in modul de functionare
manuala, sa fie asigurata interventia sistemului
de reglare a limitei de pompare la atingerea
conditiilor de pompare.
Atunci cand se iese din conditiile de functionare in
limite de siguranta, trebuie generata o alarma.
Algoritmul regulatorului trebuie sa poata fi reglat
la fata locului. Parametri setati vor fi memorati
permanent. Punctul actual de cursa va fi pus la
dispozitie cu o precizie de < 1%.
Dispozitivul pentru masurarea cantitatii trebuie sa
fie astfel instalat, incat sa poata fi masurat debitul
complet de trecere prin compresor, indiferent
daca ventilul pentru reglarea limitei de pompare
este deschis sau inchis.
2.40.6 Instalarea traductorului de presiune,
pe partea de aspirare si pe partea de
presiune
Traductoarele de presiune se vor monta cat se
poate de aproape de flansa compresorului.
Pentru sistemul de reglare a limitei de pompare si
pentru recunoasterea functionarii in regim de
pompare, trebuie instalate traductoare
independente unul de celalat.
2.40.7 Punerea in functiune
La punerea in functiune trebuie sa existe
caracteristica inregistrata la receptie. Se vor
realiza punctele de lucru definite prin contract in
suprafata caracteristica. Acest test se va trece
intr-un proces verbal
In continuare, se vor realiza si documenta doua
puncte la linia limitei de pompare.
Reglarea limitei de pompare se va etalona
corespunzator rezultatelor cu distanta de
siguranta descrisa anterior.

The surge limit regulator must satisfy the


specification of the machine manufacturer and
must be integrated into the machine control. If
this regulation function is realized by software, it
must be granted the highest priority. This
algorithm must be processed at least once per
100 msec.
It must be ensured that:
the regulator can be switched from automatic to
manual
the setting of the recirculation control valve (0 100 %) must be displayed
activation of the surge limit regulation is
guaranteed upon arising of the pump conditions,
even in manual mode.
If the safe operating range is left, an alarm must
be generated.

The regulator algorithm must be configurable


locally. The configured parameters must be
permanently saved. The current operating point
must be made available with an accuracy of <
1%.
The quantity measurement must be installed
such that the full flow through the compressor
can be measured regardless of whether the
surge limit control valve is open or closed.
2.40.6 Installation of the pressure
transmitter, on the suction and
pressure side
The pressure transmitters must be mounted as
close as possible to the compressor flange.
Transmitters that are independent of each other
must be installed for the surge limit regulation
and the pumping detection.
2.40.7 Commissioning

The characteristic diagram that was recorded


during the acceptance inspection must be
available during the commissioning. The system
must be run to the contractually defined
operating points in the characteristic diagram.
This test must be documented.
In addition, the system must be run to two points
on the surge limit line and documented.
The surge limit regulation must be calibrated
according to the results with the safety margin
described above.

Langa fiecare pozitie de lagar se vor instala cate 2


bucati traductoare de vibratii fara atingere,
pozitionate decalat la 90. Pentru aceste
traductoare trebuie sa existe posibilitatea de
reglare si inlocuire din exterior.
Pe fiecare arbore al coloanei compresorului se va
instala un keyphasor pentru urmarirea turatiei.
Utilizarea unui traductor al pozitiei axiale drept
keyphasor nu este permisa.
Unitatile de adaptare instalate local pe masina
trebuie sa dispuna de o posibilitate suplimentara
de racord destinata unui aparat de masura
portabil, astfel incat, sa nu fie necesara
decuplarea iesirilor instalate.
Daca prin specificatia tehnica nu s-a stabilit altfel,
unitatile aferente de receptie si alimentare se vor
instala in centrul de comanda.
Cablurile locale ale echipamentelor de preluare a
valorii masurate de pe masina vor fi pozate in
tuburi de protectie. Daca trebuie avuta in vedere
o frecventa mare a demontarilor, se pot poza
furtune de protectie (furtune flexibile din otel,
rezistente la trecerea peste ele), care sunt
imbinate cu racorduri filetate.
Masurarea pozitiei axiale a rotorului se va face, in
principiu prin preluarea fara atingere a
traiectoriilor.

2.41 (3.4.7.1) Vibration sensors, axial status


indicator, speed sensor
Two no-contact shaft vibration sensors must be
installed next to every bearing point, offset by
90. These sensors should be configurable from
the outside and replaceable.
A keyphasor for speed monitoring must be
installed on every shaft of the compressor line.
The use of an axial status sensor as keyphasor
is not permitted.
Adaptation units installed locally on the machine
must have an additional connection option for a
portable measurement device so that the
installed outputs do not have to be
disconnected.
If nothing is otherwise specified in the technical
specifications, the associated receiver and
supply units must be installed in the
measurement station.
Local cables of the measurement sensors on
the machine must be run in protective conduit. If
consideration must be given to frequent
disassembly, then protective conduits (impactresistant, flexible steel tubes) connected by
screw connections may be installed.
The axial status measurement of the rotor
must take place with no-contact displacement
transducers.

Masurarea se face in ambele directii axiale si


trebuie realizata cu alarma si deconectare de tip
2 din 3. Ca exceptie se admide realizarea
deconectarii de tip 2 din 2, daca din ratiuni de
constructie nu pot fi amplasate trei puncte de
masurare.
Acest lucru necesita insa aprobarea expresa a
responsabilului de proiect Petrom OMV.
Domeniul de masura va fi ales astfel incat,
raportat la pozitia de nul (in momentul reglarii
rotorul se afla in mijloc), sa poata fi prevazute 2
puncte de conectare (alarma si deconectare) in
fiecare directie (domeniu minim de masura 1
mm).

The measurement shall take place in both axial


directions and must be designed with alarm and
shut-off as a 2-of-3 switch. As an exception, a 2of-2 switch is permitted if three measurement
points cannot be installed for design reasons.
However, this requires the express approval of
the Petrom OMV project manager.

Distanta punctelor de conectare pana la pozitia de


exploatare (in conditiile in care lagarele nu sunt
deteriorate) trebuie sa fie:

The distance between the switch points and the


operating position (with undamaged bearing)
should be:

The bearing play must also be taken into
consideration for the alarms or shut-off to the
unloaded side of the axial bearing.

Pentru alarma, respectiv deconectare pe partea

The measurement range must be selected such


that 2 switch points can be provided in each
direction (alarm and shut-off) with respect to the
zero position (rotor is in the middle during
configuration) (minimum measurement range
1 mm).

Conductele si armaturile trebuie sa corespunda


Normelor Petrom OMV. Acestea sunt mentionate
in specificatia tehnica.
Nu sunt admise racordurile filetate cu inel
sectionat pentru conductele de produs sau
produse auxiliare. Se vor prefera imbinarile
metalica sudate de etansare.
Conductele pentru uleiul de ungere si cele pentru
uleiul de protectie vor fi confectionate din otel
inoxidabil pe tronsonul cuprins intre filtrul de ulei
si punctele de racord.
Diametrul nominal pentru conductele mici nu va fi
mai mic decat DN 12 sau NPS .
Peste DN 40 sau NPS 1 imbinarile vor fi
prevazute cu flanse

2.42 (3.5.1.1) Pipelines


Pipelines and fittings must satisfy the Petrom
OMV standards. These are listed in the
technical specifications.
Cutting ring screw connections are not permitted
for product and operating media lines.
Metallically sealing welded-on connections are
preferred.
Lubrication and sealing oil lines must be of
stainless steel from the oil filter to the
connection points.
The nominal widths for small lines should not be
less than DN 12 or NPS 1/2".
As of DN 40 or NPS 1 1/2", the connections
must be flanged.
